Ahoj Marcin, nice video, very informative, congratulations to the successful climb! May I ask (because I am interested in same trip) what was the overall expedition cost and the breakdown of the cost (roughly)? I understand you organized it yourself. I would like to avoid commercial expeditions also, they seem to be quite expensive. z góry dziękuję

You cannot completely avoid agency support, but you can significantly reduce it to logistical assistance (such as permits, tickets, transportation, etc.). We were part of a larger group, yet we operated autonomously. The total cost was approximately $1500-$2000. We brought our own equipment, food, and other essentials. This option is more budget-friendly and allows for independence, but it does require you to handle tasks like cooking, carrying your gear, and dealing with bureaucratic processes. Despite these challenges, it offers a rewarding and adventurous experience. The situation in Nepal is evolving, so it's important to stay updated by following the news or reaching out to someone in Nepal. For years, we have been relying on the assistance of Rammani from outdoorhimalayan.com, who has been incredibly helpful and effective in his role.
