Of course even hinata with fast reflexes can't handle that super fast toss. If that fast toss have already been completed before even hinata can jump, he can't spike it. if hinata's jump or jumping approach is late even in just a seconds, he can't spike it. You guys gets me right? That's why kageyama needs to adjust to hinata. For that fast toss to work, Kageyama needs time his fast toss with hinata. hinata needs to jump FIRST before kageyama do that fast toss. Kags needs to time it and toss when hinata have already been completed his jump and was about to spike. I think it's not impossible to spike that fast toss. Even if it's super fast, hinata can spike it if kageyama adjust, align and time that toss. That's why hinata can spike that fast toss even if his eyes are closed because of kags alignment and timing.
