Hinderer knives are fairly easy to find nowadays in 2024? Hinderer needs to improve the HRC and sharpness on the blade. Great knives and can't wait to see hollow grind.

@@shoot2mount That’s ironic. I’ve bought two, both dull. Sent one back for sharpening (charged me too), and got the knife back dull. I like his knives and want to support USA made, but not with dull blades and bad customer service. But mileage varies from person to person.

I like the knives but the lock-up is definitely an issue, same as a lot of ZTs... have reground a few lock faces to remedy the problem but not something you should have to do to a heavy duty folder in that price range

I had bought a Hinderer XM 18 and found the cool battle bronze scales that matched the battle bronze on the clip side. A young lady at the booth in Atlanta sold me the scales on day one. I came to the show first thing Saturday morning and asked if this is something they could do at the booth. She said she could swap it out within minutes. I ran home to Decatur and came back and she swapped the scale out within 5 minutes! She even adjusted the pocket clip! What awesome customer service! She didn't charge me anything! I was so impressed I got a picture with her!

I like how Rick still does small batches in house, he could definitely make more money expanding production and making cheaper models. But he doesn't and that's what makes them special.
