Important points from lecture [1] according to Bhāgavat, mokṣa is "kaitva(cheating) Pradhān(leader)" , because there for crore of years Jiva can sleep and be bereft of service to Lord. ✓ this world has 2 types of people: bhogi(exploiter) and escapist(those who want moksha). [2] Zameendar sevak example, when Zameendar comes, sevak is not there, so he's escapist, and when Zameendar leaves, sevak comes and does loot so he's exploiter. ✓ Karmis are exploiter and gyanis are excapists. ✓ we should avoid both bhog and tyag. ✓ we should avoid becoming karmi and gyani and become a "bhakta". [3] Raja throwing his ring in crowd example: - 1st person sees it's not mine and ignores, Raja laughs and leaves him - 2nd person sees nobody is watching so he steals, Raja orders him to be jailed - 3rd person picks it up, sees Raja's initials on ring and returns it back to King. Person is awarded by King. - third person is bhakt, first is gyani, second is karmi ✓ devotees see beautiful world, take sunlight, air, crops and think that is not made by them, therefore they first offer it to Lord and then only eat. [4] Tamo guni person is in agyan (ignorance), Rajo guni person is always expectating fruits of his work. - therefore tamo gun increases agyan, rajo gun increases asakti (binding). - Therefore in satto gun if one does nishkaam karma yoga(offering fruits to Lord) then there is gyan and anasakti both in it. [5] 5 superexcellence of Kṛṣṇa (when Kṛṣṇa personally comes) 1) water washing feet of Lord (Ganges water) washes our sins then when that Lord personally comes as Kṛṣṇa, He finishes our sins and takes us back to His abode. 2) Cowheard ladies of Vrindavan are given status greater than that of Śrī laxmiji, means any lower status person if engages in braj bhakti then that person can become more shresth than Śrī laxmiji. 3) Vishnu or Ramchandra when they kill any asur, send them to brahmjyoti, when Kṛṣṇa kills e.g. Putana, Aghasura, they get an opportunity to go to Bhagavat dham and get their swarup. ✓ Bhagwan whatever benefits gives to devotees also gives it to demons is speciality of Kṛṣṇa. 4) 1 Kṛṣṇa name = 1000 Viṣṇu names. 1 Kṛṣṇa name = 3 Rama names. 5) In scriptures there are 40 sanskars & 20 different dharmic rituals given. So a dharmic person means you follow all of them but in kaliyug it is very difficult so Kṛṣṇa said leave all and just follow 1 dharma : surrender only unto me (mam ekam saranam). ✓ Bhagavad-Gita 15.15 [6] Kṛṣṇa bhakti gambhirta se lene k gifts: 1) shraddha - for Kṛṣṇa, name, devotees 2) santushti - e.g small family happy in a small one room home. 3) Shakti - to not be affected by maya 4) Ruchi - bhakti karyo me 5) Prem - will gradually come
