But right there he sat smiling and laughing with his friend. Unexpectedly you found yourself smiling and looking away. You locked your gaze again in his direction, but this time longer. But then he turned. And looked straight in your eyes…as if he knew you were there staring at him shamelessly. Heat rose on your cheeks and you backed away from the roof. His pov: I sipped on my chai, enjoying the breeze.. my friend said something but I zoned out, looking at the sky and appreciating the beautiful stars… But just when I was about to turn I saw a figure on a roof. And if I wasn’t wrong it looked like it was a female..specifically staring at me. Maybe I was insane to think that prospect but I was sure when she completely backed away from the edge. Elegant was a polite way of describing her and her beauty. I could have lost my mind and maybe even started listing down all the attributes relating to her but even that would’ve sounded empty. My heart started racing when her eyes met mine. “Apki nigahein meray dil ki kia sunta, pighal tau gaya woh wesay hi.” I looked at my friend, and for the first time I smiled at his cheap poetry. “Faris” I hugged him, but then felt her gaze at me. I was too afraid to look back at her incase it increased my heart beat. Throughout the night she was there around me, I could feel it but she never approached. So I did what I ached to do. “Apko chai pasand hai?” I went to stand beside her. She slowly turned her head to me, her fragrance wafting towards me when she moved. “Jee.” Her eyes up close were even prettier, brown and big. My heart did a flip but I kept my calm. “Mujhay ap se kuch bat krni hai, chai ke sath aur…shayad chath pe?” I was eagerly waiting for the yes to come. Then something truly unexpected happened. She smiled. Slow but surely, dimples arriving on her rosy cheeks. “Zaroor.”

Your college held an annual festival , and everyone was invited . You didn't want to go as you don't like social gatherings that much , but your friends requested you to come but then you heard that he will be there too. He was just a friend of yours but he has a crush on you , his actions speak a lot. And then when he asked you whether you would come to the festival or not , you straightaway said no but deep down in your heart you planned to go . Just before the festival you were trying to choose a good outfit but then your mom told you to wear a saree but you were confused which one to wear but then your mom gave you one of her sarees. It was a beautiful red saree with black borders and then your mom sewed the black blouse for you a bit and when you tried it , it fitted perfectly. The blouse has a round neck which was showing your pretty collar boned and then it was a little bit backless but it was really good. So the next day you woke up early and your mom helped you wear the saree , and you didn't do much makeup as you were not that much of a fan of makeup so you used kajal , mascara and then you wore your earrings , you wore a bracelet and put red lipstick on your lips and a black bindi. You arrived at the college and went inside , everyone already arrived at the hall , but when you entered everyone got quiet and became shocked because you never wore saree before in any of the festivals. Your friends passed pretty comments and then you noticed him , he was wearing a black kurta with his sleeves rolled up and he looked so handsome that you can't tear your eyes away from him. His gaze was fixed on you , and for a moment he forgot everything going on beside him , if people weren't present beside him then he would have scooped you in his arms in a bridal style and would have run away with you. You winked at him and sat down with your friends and that was enough for him , his heartbeat increased and he fell on the chair . His friends quickly gave him water and fanned him. " Drama King," you mumbled while chuckling. The function started and everyone was watching it , but you didn't realise that he came and sat behind you. Your anchal was touching the ground and since you were busy watching the program you didn't notice it. He gently lifted your anchal and sat behind you holding it. He brought the anchal towards his face and gently placed it on his cheek while closing his eyes. When the program ended everyone started getting up , and when you were about to get up , you felt a gentle pull on your shoulder, when you turned around you saw him holding your anchal in his hand. " What happened?" You asked. " You look beautiful today," " I know ," He chuckled and said , " Why don't we have some chai ?" " Sure ," When you both went outside the hall you found him still holding your anchal , then you said , " You can hold my hand ," He gently tied the end of the anchal with his bracelet and then held your hand. " I liked it ," he lifted his hand which held yours and showed you the tied end of the anchal with his bracelet. You laughed and went to have chai with him where you both spend hours talking about various topics while having chai.

Well guys , i don't know but i need to share this just to celebrate my happiness :) Just a week ago I was approached by my best friend . Yeah ! U heard it right my female bestie . Actually it happens rare or feel like oh man kind of vibes but yea i was even shocked firstly being approached by none but a person from whom I always took suggestions whether it's about calculus question or be it any girl .. Secondly , she approached me , well tbh there was a time when I use to think to approach her like maybe a try but my then was mature enough to understand that it's better to keep going with such a beautiful friendship, i mean why to ruin the vibes when you can love each other as friends and blah blah ... She is very reserved kind of person to almost everyone except me and her dad like he always took best care of her like he used to ask me if we can plan for some blind dates for her as she is kind of tim tam person always in work and lil fun ...so yeah u can guess how cool her dad is ofcourse !😂 Still he always made her keep her values high ...and that is why I admire him for.. And this is what made it even complicated becuz keeping her the way her raised is just beyond i can reach ...like obviously her expectations to me but i assured her to be with whom she can spend her time with no worriers almost ! While leaving you were internally praying that you can see him even if just once but couldn't as your mom had you pulling you with her .
