earc is back compatible with arc, but arc port and cable can not be reverse compatible to earc.

I have earc port in tv connected to soundbar that has arc. And its hdmi cable provided by sony in s40r. So jo idea in cable version Now when i olay ott movies and choose audio as 5.1 or dolby digital then soundbar gives very less sound. But normal or sterio if select it gives full proer sound. So can you help me why it happens whn i choose 5.1 or digital or atmos the sounbar gives very low volume

Sir in the comparison of optical and arc you have shown that arc can support dolby atmos too but in arc and earc you have taken off atnos report in arc ? And shown atnos support in earc too? What's the actual compatibility?

@@sandeepmkbkotary6923 atmos works with arc in some 4k tv I have tested, actually atmos has two codec one is lossy components that usage dolby digital plus for atmos content found in ott apps and can pass over arc. other is lossless that usage dolby True HD found in blu ray player for which hdmi earc is required. For safer side hdmi earc is best in tv and soundbar.

Tej ji, happy New year 2024, Presently like your setup I also using Samsung 4k TV & Samsung Atmos Q600A sound bar . Now i have plan LG OLED TV, & I have come to know that like LG C2 not compatible with Samsung Atmos sounds bar . How to check proper compatibility Sound bar & TV of different brand . ( As at present my sound quality is excellent) .

Soundbar will work if both are new released within 3-4 years. Even in my samsung soundbar with samsung tv i have sound issues with certain apps in dolby atmos content like in zee5, hotstar. Soundbar should work with any tv with hdmi earc, issues may come with specific content.

Is it possible that the connecting hdmi cable is low speed and that's why i have picture degradation after sometime, also sometime i get message that hdmi may have some issue? Please advise 🙏

@@kevinmanis no all hdmi earc are compatible with arc no issue. TV ki ott apps can work well on arc also earc only required for blu ray player output. Issue may be different.

Individually dono theek chalte hain lekin dono ko connect karne ke baad picture degrade ya chipping sounds ya hdmi error message aata hai. Bahut rarely dono TV aur Soundbar ek saath sahi output deta, lekin aisa bahut kum bar hua hai...
