Yes.... But only carbon is actually enough for storage tank.. Because carbon will absorb all the harmful things from the water... Rest is not needed in the storage

Yes I know... But it's always better to cycle the tank... Not everyone uses these products.. 80% of the people whom I have spoken to... Get the fish in the bag... It's a very crucial and important part of the process of ornamental fish keeping as a hobbyist. To speed up the process of beneficial bacteria Seachem Stability or Fritzyme should be added in the tank with Seachem Prime ( declorinator ). High Ammonia or Nitrites are toxic to fishes. Nitrates should be kept to minimum of 20ppm and below.

White or light blue if they are never fishes... But if they are well settled you can try dark colours... But some varieties of checkerboards tend to get peppering with dark backgrounds...
