It is a great movie. I being a sociology student feel that short films like this, should be shown in various platforms in order to raise awareness and stop the discrimination. But there is a small but grave mistake in the subtitles, at last when the elderly intersex is recalling their encounter with their parents as compared to Appu's parents, the subtitles say for " Ye toh hijra hai." is " He is a transgender." This is not right. Because transgender is someone whose gender identity is not similar to his/her biological sex. For example, when a boy feels that he is a girl within or when a girl feels she is a boy within. Anyway, it is really, really a great film. All the intersexes, all over the world deserve parents like Appu's.
