Pure parfam purchaced on september this year, batch is 08/2022. UAE., didnt perform well in first use, so kept for 2 months without box and cap , my god now its beast mode, projection and sillage also very good, for me on skin i feel even after bath, on clothes till its washed. Its in bangalore weather. Maceration is real for this perfumes.

Pure parfum has less pineapple more citrus..and EDP had more pineapple less citrus.......but performance wise parfum is the clear winner...but I still like the EDP version because of the roasted pineapple notes ..

I would love some insight on this thing called maceration. I have 2 bottles of CDNIM EDT. (11/2021 batch) . Both are not beast mode IMO. Both project maybe 1 hour tops and then becomes a skin scent for maybe 3-4 hours and the other bottle becomes a skin scent maybe 4-5 hours. That is not considered a beastly fragrance IMO. I have let both bottles sit for over a month now. I have not noticed any change as of yet. Many say that this fragrance needs to sit and macerate for awhile. Some say to macerate with the top off and others say to never remove the top during macerating due to chemicals and molecules escaping from the bottle which could affect the fragrance in a negative way. Others say that macerating is a placebo/mind thing to trick people in to believing that their fragrance has changed. I noticed that there are millions of reviews toward this fragrance but few to none that explains in detail how to macerate/a step by step review on the correct way to macerate CDNIM EDT or any other fragrance. Can anyone provide some clarity or clarification on the right and correct way to macerate?? That information would be so helpful for many people. 👍

Just let it macerate for at least 1-2 months with the cap on (after using 4-5 sprays initially). All my perfumes had to macerate before I could get decent performance from them. Initially they all had poor performance( including my cdnim pure parfum from France and the best high quality clone of creed aventus I have which is Pineapple Vintage Emperor edp but if you want smokier version then Afnan's Not only intense is best). The latest scent i have bought is the iconic Terre DHermes edt 100ml which is vanishing after 3 hours (even on clothes) so I'm praying that I will get beautiful gorgeous long lasting scent after 2 months (all the reviews say that even after reformulation the above Terre edt lasts for 8 hours). One bottle of Terre DHermes edt (bought for a cheaper rate from another source) is clearly a fake as I'm getting only one hour performance and the scent quality is not good (also the batch code is printed and not engraved on the bottle). So make sure you get your scents from good sources, as all good and popular scents are getting faked these days (these fake bottles and their boxes are very identical to the real thing, so the only way to tell them apart is the poor quality of the scent)... But if you're getting at least 3-4 hours of good quality scent, then let it sit for 2 months and use other scents or decants in the meantime, and you will surely get much better or beast mode performance after 2 months (assuming it's not a fake and you got it from a good source).

@@07sushy I agree with everything that you stated. Maceration is definitely a real thing. My bottles of CDNIM EDT are beastmode fragrances now after they sit and macerated for 3-5 months. I even had to let my bottle of CDNIM Iconic sit and macerate for a month. It performs and smells amazing now. I learned not to judge certain fragrances right out the box. Most need time to mature/macerate. Thank you for your true and helpful advice. 👍

It’s not manufactured in two countries but both versions are manufactured in Dubai but they labeled its as made in uae and France because I had a chat with Mr asad zaidi who is renowned person in sterling perfumes company he explained me the reason why they do it so.

I have two bottles of CDNIM EDT. One is weaker than the other one. Both are the 11/2021 batch from France. Both were bought at different vendors. One last up to 3-4 hours on skin then it's pretty much is unnoticeable. The other bottle last up to 5-6 hours then it becomes a weak scent. I mentioned this on another review toward CDNIM EDT and someone responded back stating that 5-6 hours was considered beastly. I don't agree. ( 9.5+ hours is considered beastly in my opinion) Anything less than 9 hours is considered "above average" fragrance but not beastly. I would love to get/hear everyones opinions on "what is beast mode"??

Can you check the caps? I read somewhere that there is a clone of CDNIM. The cap has the diamonds in different corners. Whilst the original will always have three diamonds in one corner. Also the caps won't fit if they are different.

I guess I have a fake CDNIM. Also, the cap that is fake does not fit on the real CDNIM bottle like you said. That's crazy but good to know. Is this only on CDNIM EDT or all CDNIM such as Pure Parfum, limited edition, CDNIM Iconic?

Mine is made in france Last about 2 to 3 hours on skin but up to 8 hours on clothes

Some batches before 2018 are supposed to be a lot of better performance than the newer batches. But what do you think about yours? Does it have a good Sillage and projection and performance in your opinion? And what batch do you have?

Bro, also bought pure parfum frm flipkart, uae batch frm multiimport. Same batch, its original but you should keep this for atleast one month without box in cool darker area werr air passes.and you can see the diffrence, hope answerd

I am not sure maybe I don't like such smell due to my sensitive nose. I bought this for my own wedding which is in 25 days now,by hearing so much on KZbin.I don't have much time to wait for maceration and do experiments. still i will do as you said for few weeks I have.
