Film Prem Parbat (1973) had wonderful music by Jaidev.Its lyricist was the legendary poet,Jaan Nisar Akhtar who was father of today's famous poet Javed Akhtar. Unfortunately, no print of this film is available.Only the audio of its most famous song by Lata Mangeshkar is available. The producer of this video very cleverly used the audio of Film Prem Parbat and video of Film Madhumati (1958) to create this video. To enjoy the audio of this song the best way, please use headphone of very good quality.Lata Mangeshkar's recording of this song is its soul.Hari Prasad Chaurasia's flute recital is simply superb.The use of a pitcher as percussion instrument instead of Tabla or dholak is another beauty of this song !Shiv Kumar Sharma's brilliant Santoor play is another chief attraction of this video.
