Superb. The wave of the enthralling Hindolam, punctuated by the jathi of the Nattuvaangam is what this Creation is all about. “ Vakra Thunda Mahaa-kaaya”. The mellifluous, bell-like feminine voice, supported by the strong drum of the male reverberations, becomes the Sabha for the Dancer. And the dancer and his dance - if we could learn to live life with a little of the joy and immersion he has in his art, how beautiful our world will seem to us.

There is dance that showcases precision & technical skill and then there is a performance that is soul stirring. You have achieved both. I'm not trained in classical dance, but I can tell when a dancer is committed & deeply immersed in the performance. You leave no room for doubt on that front. Thank you. Please don't ever stop dancing and sharing your performances. Can't wait to see more of you.

Hello Gaura anna. Been following your dance videos since 2016 , the times I was untrained in Bharatanatyam. And since past 3 years, been training under my idols Saroja Vaidyanathan ji and Rama Vaidyanathan ji. And saw a few of the latter's choreographies by you. Loved them. I discovered this video just today! Love it so much. Was curious to know if it's a publically available audio to hear. And if you are open to teaching if I host a workshop for you. Would love to hear from you. Thank you and regards- Varun from chandigarh

Thank you so much for your kind words dear Varun! Unfortunately this audio is not publicly available. I am always eager to share whatever I know, but if you have the fortune to be in the presence of smt. Saroja and Rama Vaidyanathan then what is the use of such an insignificant dancer like myself? 😅
@thedancingdentist37263 жыл бұрын
@@lyoshafurdak no Anna. I believe junior, senior or colleague, everyone has something to teach and we can learn from anybody. And I know how much your videos have been a significant part of my journey of Bharatanatyam. Jathiswarams are rarely being performed nowadays and through this effort of you teaching it, especially since the music and choreography both were interesting, would like students to emphasise and incorporate Jathiswarams in repertoire and recitals. Please 🙈

@dugadugaduga4 жыл бұрын
@whynotanonwhynotanonymous78214 жыл бұрын
@lyoshafurdak4 жыл бұрын
