Glosses over the most guilty person: the fire inspector.

There’s plenty of people responsible. The inspector could have told the owners to take the foam down and they would have done the same thing that they did when he told them to take the door down. Say “okay” and not do it or take it down only to put it right back up when the inspector leaves. The owners knew this place was a death trap. The bouncers killed numerous people too by refusing to let them use the back door. The Grandfather clause is also to blame for allowing cheap business owners to get away with putting their customers at risk. Many of the windows were plexiglass instead of actual glass so when victims desperately tried to break the glass it was like a cruel joke only to realize that they could not escape. The air conditioning had zero failsafe for fires so it continued to run and circulate air only making the fire worse. There was no sprinkler system. This is a systemic issue due to a clause that allows businesses to maintain a level of control over people’s lives that they should not be able to maintain and fire deaths, tramplings, etc. keep happening because of it.

I wanna visit that place and pay my respect to all the people who died that night. And say God bless you to All who were victims of that night. So sad. It's actually on my bucket list. I hope to check it off one day. ❤

"It's been cleared with the local fire marshal." This is assuming the fire marshal is competent. Many are not.
