hello, thanks for liking the video and sorry for extraordinary delayed reply. actually this was created by one of my friends and have used it with her permission, most likely its made from Java using components like Canvas, Graphics and JFrame although am not 100% sure...

Love your video depiction however the sun and moon are rotating around the earth. Is this what the Hindus believe.

That is what even NASA believes. Since we can't realize we're moving that's the only way to track the celestial movement (assuming that earth is static). That's how equinoxes, day light saving times, everything else is identified.

It is a concept to understand time, seasons, etc. This calendar is true is even now to make predictions. Hindus always believed earth revolves around sun and moon around earth. It is described in Vedas which are older than Ramayana which is 12200 BCE. But to understand seasons, day/nights/tithis etc calculations are made in this format which doesn't devoid it of truth
