ranver bro, i love when you do a podcast or an episode with real intellectual people like Vineet Agrawal and Abhijeet chavda but I don't think and believe that people like devedutt patnayak doesn't deserve to be in any reputed public platforms as they will only damage the image of the individual and culture and do all kind of miss interpretations about them I have read his book so-called "my Geeta " he just uses all the English translations of Sanskrit and even uses his own senseless translations that is really cringy. @@sadashivputra1627 you can locate Christ and Prophet (their exact timeline.) in history that's why they are not called myths.I am Hindu myself but where will you locate lord Krishna from Dwapar yug and lord Rama from tretayug in today's world? I wish there were evidences.History demand evidences.Westerners have a good habit of documenting everything where in we believe in oral history( here is where they call our history as mythology) they probably compare it with the Greek mythology. if you are a Hindu, you already should not believe in anyone's destruction 😂😂😂 because who are we to do that?!

The flow of information was done by shruti and smriti i.e the sages remembered the Vedas and carried it to next generation.

Devdutt pattnaik may have distorted some interpretation of vedas/puranas because his understanding of puranas are that only. And Regarding Mahabharata and Ramayana i feel he explained very well. And if you are a real seeker... you should be open enough to soak all the knowledge. And after reading vedas/puranas you can filter that knowledge. My only point is grasp positive thing from everything.
