I don't know what happened to Hikaru. Keika is studying at a university in Japan. She does modelling for catalogs, occasionally. Rina is still pursuing a career in singing/dancing. She is with Caless (sp.?), a school for singing and dancing. A couple of years ago, she released an R&B single that was included on an anthology CD. I never heard it, though. =P

I've listened this song again very carefully and noticed that when Rina or Keika sang in front of the line, Asuka sang ANOTHER MELODY with extremely little voice so as to make HARMONY with the main melody which was sung by Rina or Keika. So, precisely, they aren't solo parts as you wrote. But it's also true that Rina or Keika is solely singing the main melody at these passages.

She wrote in it that she had asked her mother why her parents had named her "Asuka". Her mother replied that they had given it to her, because they wanted her to "become active in future (tomorrow)". But many Japanese remember from her name "Asuka(飛鳥 or 明日香) district" where the capital of Japan existed in ancient times (592--710 A.D.).

[D] "Keika(桂花)" means the "flower of fragrant olive (Osmanthus fragrans var. aurantiacus)", but other interpretations are possible.
