I am sitting here with my wife on Thanksgiving day 2021 and looking back at the last couple of years and realizing that our world has been hit with a crisis of a virus that has changed so much. But finding these vids of the Hinsons and especially one of my favorite gospel singers, Kenny Hinson, and listening to the songs I am so THANKFUL of the message that I heard for years from Kenny and the other Hinsons. For the first time in my life I questioned God when I heard of the death of Kenny. Why take such a great voice for the cause of Christianity. But today the answer came to me. The talent and message that I so much enjoyed as Kenny presented it, has not faded for me. I am reminded that he was the messenger of a message for me. On this Thanksgiving day in 2021 I now know Kenny's death did not change the reality of the message to me and the world. In fact I now realize that death was not the end of the message or the messenger but these videos are proof it still lives on (the message of hope). If the family of Kenny sees this I for one have been impacted today by Kenny, Ronny, the entire family in 2021. Thank you Hinson Family

Kenny is at his best at this concert. The Hinsons are the best Gospel group I’ve ever heard. Kenny is my favorite. I wish he lived to be on more of the Gaither videos.

I had the privilege of seeing the Hinsons at Lenoir Community College, Kinston NC and also at Fike High School, Wilson, NC where I got to speak to him after the concert and he shook my hand! He was so nice and a complete gentleman. The Hinsons were a great influence in my spiritual life and singing ministry. I miss those days. I love watching the videos of their concerts. They were anointed and amazing ministers for God.

Kenny Hinson in my 40 plus years of singing, and hearing and seeing the most prolific singers in person, concert and TV, on Albums and any medium you can name. He is the best Singer of all time of any genre. His Style, Presentation, Vocal Inflections, Texture, Tone, Delivery and on and on and on make him the best. God must have placed on Earth specifically for our behalf.

Ronnie, Larry & Yvonne too. But, Kenny. The Spirit of God would come All over him & he'd get HAPPY, Run & SHOUT all over the Town. There will NEVERR be another Singer like Kenny? Still MISS him ALOTT!! But, i WILL get to See & Be With Him AGAIN REALLL SOON!! See Ya in HEAVEN my Friend & Brother!! God Bless!!

Amen: If, you never got to see them in person? These videos do Not do him justice at ALL? I got to know Kenny, Ronnie, Larry, Bo & Yvonne pretty good back in the 70s & 80s when they'd come to our little town of Pburg, Ky. They'd come every Spring & Fall or Summrt & Fall & several times All three. But, there was Nothing in Any way FAKE about Kenny or Ronnie or the rest of them? Kenny lived what he presched & sang & he preached & sang of how he Lived. Kenny as well as Ronnie were TRUE men of God. You didn't have to ask them if they were "Christians" OHH NO? It showed all over them. I was Lucky & Fortunate enough to got to play drums for them at least 3x when their drummer couldn't make it? It was an HONOR to just to have known them. Let alone to be a part of them. I will Cherish that for the rest of my life. When they'd come to our little town. They'd sing in the town parking lot. But, they didn't just come to sing? OHH NOO? We had CHURCH. Kenny & Ronnie would get happy ^& start Shouting & be out in the streets. Cars would be lined up on both sides & many of them would pull over & up onto the sidewalks & get out & come & listen & see what was going on? Alot of people got SAVED right there. If Kenny don't get your blood flowing & give you a Blessing? Then, you might wanna go &be checked to see If you have a Heart? All of you who got to see them and/or known them. Know Exactly what i am saying. Kenny, Ronnie, Larry "Who wasn't in this one"? But, Bo who is Ronnies son & Yvonne their sister. They were All Blessed with a True Gift from God to sing. When we lost Kenny at the young age of 42 from liver cancer in 1994. It Rippped & Tore my heart OUT. YESS, i cried like a baby & i am not ashamed to admit it? There will Never be another singer like "Kenny" EVERR? God put him on this earth to Sing, Preach & Touch hearts. But, i will see & be with you Again REAL SOON my Brother. Thanks for all the Blessings & Everything else. You are still Missed & Recognized in the Gospel Music industry today by So many people who Admired, Loved & Adored you. And i am at the Top of that list. Until then. Look for me...for i will be there too. God Bless!! Love you ALL

Being a drummer myself, I loved Tracy’s style. He started playing professionally at 15 and that sounded awesome to me. I got to know him later and he would give me advice from time to time. One piece of advice was not to start that young and to finish school first. In 2012 he posted on fb that he had a rare heart disease and was worried because there was no cure. He died not long after that post. Gone way too soon. So sad.

I had the pleasure of seeing them many times when I would hear they were coming to Shreveport or anywhere near here we would always go what a blessing all the times I felt the glory come down on me in their concerts those times are Unforgettable it was awesome I got to see Ronny in Texarkana Arkansas about 3 years ago he still had a great anointing on him to speak and preach and could still tell a story like no other he told a story of how he and Lisa went to a gas station-store a guy came in to Rob it. the guy pulled out a knife and started telling the clerk what he would do to him Ronny said he told the guy that what he was fixing to do is get out of there the guy started cursing him he told him in the name of Jesus your leaving the guy started swinging the knife at him cursing him the whole time lunging forward with the knife while his legs walked backwards backing out the door still cursing still slashing Ronny said the guy went behind the store Ronny said when he got to the car he asked Lisa his wife to drive around behind the store she said let's get out of here he said no drive around the store the guy was back there he rolled down his window asked the guy you want some of this I enjoyed it immensely God forever bless Ronny and the whole Hinson family.

There’s a Facebook group devoted to Southern Gospel fans under the age of 40 or so. I wonder how many of them even know who Kennie was because if they don’t, they’re missing one of the three greatest vocalist in the history of music in general not just gospel music I firmly believe with Mike English and Rusty Goodman being the other two.
