Its ok not to be fluent in english as its not our mother tongue. But its not ok to show that you are fluent in English cos Rashi you are not. Thats why you are interrupting and say "yeah yeah" all the time. You should let other guests to speak without commenting on everything they say. Its good that you can survive. I disagree with the comment that Dinakshie's character is jealous. Honestly, I found her character to be the most selfless and kind. I also agree that music plays a major role in the movie; I loved all the songs, and the music was great.

It's really disheartening to see some of the comments here. There is nothing wrong with the way she speaks English. She communicates well, and her message is clear. She is not trying hard or seeking attention. I don't understand why people make fun of anyone who tries to speak in English. It's pathetic, and you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Our Sri Lankans will never be able to come out of this sick mentality. Even foreigners would never look down on others the way our people do because of their English skills. English is just a language for communication; there is nothing to be ashamed of, even if you speak broken English, as long as you can deliver the message clearly. How can someone improve themselves when you publicly destroy that person's confidence? In fact, they should have invited Sachin for this conversation too. Sachin may have been afraid to come because he knows people would laugh if he made a mistake. It's just sick.

This setting of this show is more leaned towards a conversational tone. So, it's not like a one-on-one interview, where one asks a question and then only that particular person gets to answer. Since everyone worked on the same movie, anyone can join in and add on to the responses. It is meant to be a casual conversation! You have missed the obvious..lol. I feel that YOU have a problem that Rashi was able to speak in English in this show...should get your feelings straight. Personally, Rashi's English was better than Dinakshie's. When Dinakshie speaks, she only speaks 1-2 sentences in English and then takes a break, thinks for a bit or add some Sinhala here and there, and then go back for another couple of English sentences and so on. Rashi was contrary to that.
