i was obviously born in the wrong era, comparing this wholesome music to today's state of hip hop ... theres only 1 word to sum up todays music - trash. Glad i came across this playlist

That mixclound often lacks the playlist. I just clicked the link here and it too lacked the playlist. Sometimes I find a playlist on the links but man, am I doing something wrong? Where the f are the playlists? lol . I use shazam to tell me what the songs are half the time because I cant find the playlist.

There is too much AZ on those 1995 compilations
@UCIBME
Jimmy, you should gate your playlist, I know other KZbinrs do, I’d pay for knowing these artists and songs through PayPal or patreon

These guys had so much flow. Nowadays nobody is smooth like that anymore. Esp given the fact that they were telling actual stories.

This mix is like a time machine. Transported right back to being 16 years old, sitting alone in my suburban bedroom late at night - recording tracks off the radio (DJ Pinkhouse WGCI-FM 107.5) A magical, formative time. I was really lonely at the time and didn't have a lot of friends. Hip-hop music/culture was something amazing I could discover, hold onto, and be inspired by.
