Another technical point (I’m pushing 50 years old and grew up with this) is EXTENSION. You nailed that funkiness and angles cause your body twisted and flowed, you played the corners of the room. But you were too upright. Channel that inner middle school black girl killing it at the skating rink. You gotta extend those shoulders and limbs Gotta move FAST to accentuate that fluidity, sweat, then go 360 degrees
