I love Amira and her performances (name pronounced Ah-MEE-rah, by the way, not Ah-MY-rah). I've been following her for four years. But I didn't like most of your reaction. Though you had positive things to say about Amira, which I appreciated, I think you disrespected her by not listening to ALL her replies and by not watching her own reaction at the end when she was overwhelmed and delighted by receiving the Golden Ticket (equivalent to Golden Buzzer) from the male judge you kept unfairly mocking. Then you went off on a tangent with the lady judge who simply, harmlessly asked Amira, "What is your dream?", and you cut it off before Amira could finish telling her two-fold dream. Really!? You also missed the part where the older male judge told her he wished he had a daughter like her, then walked up to the stage after the Golden Ticket and gave her a sincere hug. It's been a long, long time since I've watched your channel and (though I know you don't care) it will be a long, long time again.

Great reaction! Nobody can mimic an elite soprano singing opera. It's an art that requires decades of learning and talent. In opera, it takes years to learn the proper formation of vowels inside the mouth. It's not easy at all to learn vibrato (vibration of the vowel strings), college music students still struggle to do it correctly, hitting the notes with 100% accuracy 100% of the time requires a conductor's ear, not to mention total breath control, impeccable rhythm, absolute command and control of the notes. For all these reasons, Amira's case is unique, as she already knew all this at the age of nine. A few days after this audition, one of Europe's best conductors (Andre Rieu) invited her to take part in some masterclasses and his annual concert. There she received a standing ovation from 10,000 people for a long time.

Welcome to the world of Amira! (the chief judge gives you the correct pronunciation). Although she is now fluent in three languages, she sings in around 10. Operatic arias, classic crossover, musicals, hymns, etc. She sung this again a few months later on stage with Andre Rieu; a more polished version before 10,000+ people, who gave her a standing ovation. In lighter vein, you might like Little Drummer Boy, supported by the Mzansi Youth Choir, when around 16.

Oh she's got talent. She can hit a note spot on, and sustain it too. I'm sure you have been given a few other songs to try out. She goes beyond opera, likes film music, church music, anything that catches her ear. Try her cover of Your Love, or Amazing Grace. Maybe Gesu bambino.

Ik heb honderden reacties over haar gelezen uit allerlei muziek genres en ik moet de eerste negatieve reactie of zelfs maar de kleinste aanmerking nog steeds lezen of horen. Zij is zo ongekend goed dat er niets op af te dingen. Ik heb reacties gelezen van hip hoppers en rappers die bekenden dat de tranen over hun wangen liepen als zij Amira hoorden zingen. I think she’s about 19 maybe 20 at this point I don’t know but yes she does formal singing. She does opera musical theater. I haven’t really heard her do any pop type stuff I think she takes more to formal things but she’s really good I mean even in this video, you can talk, but she isn’t. She was only nine then.

I agree 100% with you, and wrote a comment myself about his brash attitude. And, in my opinion, he also disrespected Amira by cutting the video short, not listening to her tell her two-fold dream, and not watching her delighted reaction for winning the Golden Ticket. Amira now lives in South Africa. She gives half her income to a foundation that builds playgrounds. I believe 18 so far. Ps she was looking foreward to meeting the judge because he always makes jokes. ❤❤❤

Just had a look at your play list, wouldn't want to suggest something you've already seen. The phantom is a Broadway show, so they lifted a chunk of it for the pop classics show. It's not Amira 's usual field, but the crossover works. Amira has sung with Ruhan before, Follow your heart. ( posted as The love between Amira and her father ) is very good. They also did Freddie Mercury 's Barcelona together. Couple more recommendations. ... Amen with the Ndlovu youth choir is a recent Amira release, as is Down from his glory, which she sung with David Cerna from LA. She also went back to hollands got talent Superstars show ( 10 year anniversary )and sang Ebben. Ne andro lontana. Earlier works you've missed that are utterly brill are Ave Maria, Gomez. And the live in concert, Nella Fantasia. She is a wonderful singer, and doesn't disappoint. Thanks Bro.
