@@stillmeadowfarm, Luke Combs is a fraud. He used country rap independent star Ryan Upchurch to get where he is. Luke doesn't talk about it, but his first platinum record was because Upchurch was on the song. Sony called both Luke and Upchurch at the same time. Upchurch turned them down. Then, Sony threatened to sue Upchurch to have him remove Luke's name from the song. Now, all Luke's songs are done by ghostwriters. Without Upchurch, Luke would still be living on ramen.

The chords are pretty simple, so I started playing them on my guitar. And she stepped up to my buddy's mic and started singing. She had an amazing voice, and I held my own singing the harmonies. From where I was sitting, it sounded fantastic. When we'd finished, the lady gave me a hug and left the bar. If she's reading this... thanks for a random, beautiful, unforgettable moment.

There I was with the girl I was dating at the time sipping a beer or something trying to chat over the music. The band wasn't bad. But they abruptly finished a song, there was some murmuring, and then they announced that a girl in the audience wanted to play a song if we didn't mind. And then that whatever day in 1992 or 1993, Linda Perry stepped onto the stage, grabbed an acoustic guitar from the band and belted out this song. Just phenomenal. Just wow. She finished, then stepped off the stage into a crowd that had gone completely insane and just hung out the rest of the night and drank and danced to the little bar band. Surreal.

Pat Benatar, you will love her! One of the biggest female vocalist in the 80s. I personally would start out with fire and ice. Thanks, Molly Boy.

We're In This Together - PJ Harvey (ft. Thom Yorke), Roads by Portishead, I Feel Love - The Dead Weather would be my picks for some female vocals. Great reaction, btw! This song was featured on an episode of Sense 8 on Netflix. Great scene. Gave this song a resurgence in sales and views, I'm sure.

Portishead for the win, a must listen along with Annie Lennox for female vocalists x

Anytime I see that a reactor is reaching to What’s Up, I just HAVE to watch it because I know it’s gonna blow someone away, as it did you. I believe yours is my favorite reaction ever to this song! When you teased us with “I wanna rewind, I wanna rewind,” I was here yelling “DO IT!!” So glad you did! I really enjoy your reactions!!

Alannis Moresette for sure for female singers....and Skunk Anansie.....now that is pure raw power for female vocals

If you are looking for more excellent female rock vocals, then I have some killer suggestions for you: Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac (classic rock), Ann Wilson of Heart (classic rock), Shirley Manson of Garbage (grungy 90s alt rock), PJ Harvey (kick-ass Indie Rock), Amy Lee of Evanescence (gothic metal) and Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane (classic rock).

Johnette Napolitano from Concrete Blonde is another underrated fantastic female artist. I love her version of Everybody Knows. Give it a listen.
