Imagine 15 guys working on a construction job site doing drywall, carpentry, etc... This song comes on the radio and now a CHOIR of backing vocals kick in---with MANY singing lead!!! Maybe even compare it to some of your favorites. You'll be surprised. And lose the insulting rhetoric, it's not "kewl"... Someone might also think someone's lying about their name, age, or both. What do you think, Cohen? Or, Cohen's dad? Someone might be forced to log on under a family members name, because they got banned. Thoughts?

@@CoboProdz Interesting how you choose to interject your beliefs--AGAIN, into the words or actions of others. I'm pretty sure there's a diagnosable (and probably _treatable_ ) condition there. Get help, man. It's REALLY not the "good look" you think it to be... Still don't want to address the deceitful, misleading, and otherwise BOLD FACED LIES, shown on _your_ channel description? Seriously, THIS issue--along with your reply "method", are probably doing more harm than good for "your" subscriber base, or whose channel you're using. Being REAL is usually a good start... @johndeeregreen4592
@johndeeregreen4592 Ай бұрын
@@stillmeadowfarm, Luke Combs is a fraud. He used country rap independent star Ryan Upchurch to get where he is. Luke doesn't talk about it, but his first platinum record was because Upchurch was on the song. Sony called both Luke and Upchurch at the same time. Upchurch turned them down. Then, Sony threatened to sue Upchurch to have him remove Luke's name from the song. Now, all Luke's songs are done by ghostwriters. Without Upchurch, Luke would still be living on ramen.

Concrete Blonde is great. A band I was in a long long time ago now used to cover their song Mexican Moon. We were a thrash/death metal band similar to early Sepultura. We didn't cover that song in that style. Whole reason we picked that song is that it was the only song the entire band could agree that we all wish we had been the ones to write and perform it originally.

I was playing a gig as a duet at a local bar a few years ago. While we were on a break and my buddy was outside having a smoke, a lady from the crowd came up and asked if I knew this song. The chords are pretty simple, so I started playing them on my guitar. And she stepped up to my buddy's mic and started singing. She had an amazing voice, and I held my own singing the harmonies. From where I was sitting, it sounded fantastic. When we'd finished, the lady gave me a hug and left the bar. If she's reading this... thanks for a random, beautiful, unforgettable moment.

She is, by far, one of my favorite vocalists, too... just a shame she never got in the spotlight she deserves. Being a female alto, she had to train the heck out of her voice to reach those high notes, has a unique sound doing it, all because her natural voice is nearly as deep as a male baritone.... very rare voice for a woman.

I was in this little bar in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (USA) listening to a random bar band. There I was with the girl I was dating at the time sipping a beer or something trying to chat over the music. The band wasn't bad. But they abruptly finished a song, there was some murmuring, and then they announced that a girl in the audience wanted to play a song if we didn't mind. And then that whatever day in 1992 or 1993, Linda Perry stepped onto the stage, grabbed an acoustic guitar from the band and belted out this song. Just phenomenal. Just wow. She finished, then stepped off the stage into a crowd that had gone completely insane and just hung out the rest of the night and drank and danced to the little bar band. Surreal.

@@juliepalmer7479 But are you familiar with the very first Jefferson Starship album, Blows Against the Empire? It was really popular in the early 70s but seems to have been forgotten. It was a collaboration of a bunch of musicians, including Grace Slick, Jerry Garcia, Graham Nash, etc., lots of others, with a theme of a bunch of hippies stealing the first starship and bringing peace and love to the Universe. Very dated concept, but created some fabulous music. Later, they decided to rename Jefferson Airplane as Jefferson Starship, then just Starship.

Siouxsie and the Banshees! Great post punk band from the UK. They have around 11 studio albums from 1978 to 96. Highly influential band to a lot of these alternative/post punk bands. Go down the rabbit hole you won't regret it. A few songs are, Cities in Dust, Spellbound, Cascade, Night Shift, Monitor, Christine, Dazzle, Red Light, Switch, Placebo Effect, 92 degrees, Scarecrow....I can go on! any song of theirs is great in my opinion. Best reaction channel on you tube right now!

We're In This Together - PJ Harvey (ft. Thom Yorke), Roads by Portishead, I Feel Love - The Dead Weather would be my picks for some female vocals. Great reaction, btw! This song was featured on an episode of Sense 8 on Netflix. Great scene. Gave this song a resurgence in sales and views, I'm sure.

If you are looking for more excellent female rock vocals, then I have some killer suggestions for you: Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac (classic rock), Ann Wilson of Heart (classic rock), Shirley Manson of Garbage (grungy 90s alt rock), PJ Harvey (kick-ass Indie Rock), Amy Lee of Evanescence (gothic metal) and Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane (classic rock).
