@@redviagra sorry I took it as the whole entire woke thing type of diversity thats all over social media. Which that group is very diverse. And sure there's plenty of companies that cater to only hip-hop or rap but that is more so in the beats and samples arena. UA has had a few sessions with hip-hop guys on here and whats great about UA is that they are making great gear that doesn't care what you put into it. Its gonna sound phenomenal whether its a clean and clear jazz record or a grungy dark smashed with tape hip hop or rock record or a bright heavily compressed pop track. Now those latest guitar pedals, sure mainly rock 😆

Dope content! 🔥 I just have one question: Did you use some kind of headphone splitter for the Twin X, so that the artist and the producer can hear the performance at the same time?

My routing with the Apollo Twin MkII is: 1. headphone exit for the performer (this way they can have a different mix) 2. line3/4 exit for my headphones, use only one, and I always toggle MONO for this to work. I only do this for tracking. For mixing, line3/4 feed shitty or awesome consumer speakers.

I noticed when I tried to use the ATR102 as an insert in console it seemed to mess up the latency. Are there other plugins that you advise not to use as an insert or just that one?

Yeah, check the manual, certain plugins have too much latency for real time use.

So to get this straight, I Record out from Uad Console with the pre amp and compressors, then i mix the vocals precisely that were recorded out from uad console into pro tools again? (Like take out muddy frequencies and such)

You are in control of what gets printed to the recording and what is only monitored. Come mix time, you can recreate the monitored processing or add to it for your final sound! So much flexibility and options. 👍🏻

quick maybe weird question. if you have a external pre Amp. that you run into your uad. would you still benefit woth any analog type feel going through unison line input. say a ssl channel and use the gate and eq to print down?

Sure. But your best option is to come in at Line level and add the plugins in the regular Inserts. No need/benefit with Unison in this config.
