Sometimes Shaykh Nazim used to let people do their "amusements" but he was a wise man (rahimahu Llah wa qaddassa sirrah) : now on this video you see one of (for sure) new visitor doing his play, but seeds are planted into his heart, and few weeks later you should see him getting up 1 hour before fajr to pray, fasting, giving money, helping people, changing his nafs...... smart people don't just put a judgement only based on what they have seen once on youtube... Seeds this kind of men sow in the heart make us change from the inside without we even understand why and how

What in the world are you talking about? What amusement? What seed? Which wise man? All I see is a bunch of people pretending to be practising muslims dancing and acted like they were possessed, astaghfirullah! When did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ever teach us this? The sahabah? The tabi'un? Tabi al-tabi'in? How can a muslim with sound aqeedah not see how wrong this is? May Allah guide us all.

MUHAMMAD MUZAMMIL No offense but I don't think you know what innovation (bid'ah) in religion is. The prophet ﷺ told us that: “Every innovation is going astray, and every going astray will be in the Fire.” Narrated by Muslim (867) and an-Nasaa’i (1578). It was narrated that innovation is prohibited in general terms, and it is described as misguidance, as in the hadith: “Beware of newly-invented matters, for every newly-invented matter is an innovation, every innovation is a going astray, and every going astray will be in the Fire.” This is general in meaning and applies to every innovation. If that person dance for a living then he needs to stop and find other halal jobs. You judge what is apparent, a bid'ah is still bid'ah and because the innovators are doing it in public openly, all the more reason people need to denounce the action and shun the innovators!

Pure Master No offense habibi but I don't listen or take knowledge from a deviant Sufi. You shouldn't as well, learn your deen from proper scholars of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama'ah, from the likes of Sheikh Ibn Baz, al-Albani, Uthaymeen and Salih al-Fawzan. These scholars don't make their fatwas based on dreams, their ijtihad are according to the Quran and the Sunnah with the understanding of the Salaf. May I suggest a good student of knowledge that adheres strictly to the Quran and the Sunnah to you? Look up Sheikh Assim al-Hakeem on KZbin, listen to his lectures and take knowledge from someone like him ya habibi.

The way I heard it, the Prophet (S) actually approved of some Ethiopian Muslims who danced as a chanted “Muhammad is a righteous servant!”. I am not a scholar but I think this would be a question worth asking- what do we see in his example? On what grounds or our views about music and dance built?

The Prophet ( Salallāhu 'alayhi wa Sallam ) said to Zayd, “You are my freedman ( mawlā'i ), whereupon Zayd began to hajala (hop on one leg - a type of dancing) around the Prophet ( Salallāhu 'alayhi wa Sallam ) . The Prophet ( Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam ) then said to Ja'far: “You resemble me in my physical form and character” ( Khalqī wa Khuluqī ), whereupon Ja'far began to do the same behind Zayd. The Nabi ( Salallāhu 'alayhi wa Sallam ) then said to me, “You are a part of me and I am a part of you” ( anta minnī wa anā mink ) whereupon I began to do the same behind Ja'far. This is reported by Imām Ahmad in his Musnad (1:537 #857). Ash-Shākir declared it authentic in his review of the Musnad . Al-Bazzār in his Musnad with a sound chain according to Imām Al-Haythamī in his Majma' Az-Zawā'id (5:157). Also reported by Imām Al-Bayhaqī in his Sunan Al-Kubrā (8:6 #15548, 20816) as well as Ibn Abī Shaybah in his Musannaf . Ibn Sa'ad reported this in Mursal form in his Tabaqāt , 4:22.
