This album was a real discovery for me in 2021, a lot has happened under the bridge since then, many not-so-pleasant events in life have passed, tests for the psyche and my mental health, good music helps not to go crazy in these difficult times. Every time I remember Vanilla, I listen and get some kind of therapeutic effect, light, bright, high. From Russia with love.

this is the lofi hip hop that borderlines trance and ambiance. It's almost impossible not to feel your body relax or a smile stretching on your face listening to it. Primarily enjoy Dreams and Nana pt 2, but the pads on Never Forget and the swing by the guitar in Summer Nights keeps my head bobbing. Not to mention his masterful sampling and remix of Do For Love. Vanilla once again embodies mysticism and dream-like sounds and tones to create stimuli so majestic you'd play it just to know it still exists.
