And the only ones who really stood out in the video was Jisung, Taeyong, Mark, Lucas, and Ten. So unless you are a hardcore Nctzen like we are, I think it would be hard for someone to notice him.

Bris, NCT’s concept has always been world domination so it makes sense to wanna promote in different parts of the world and make songs in different languages. The problem is that k-pop is banned in China. So, WayV have to go by a different name and basically act like a different group apart from NCT in order to promote in China. That’s really it. Though I do agree that SM handles them messily. Their entire concept is absolutely genius but SM isn’t handling them well at all. Not utilizing some of the members, shoving them in the background, etc. But it won’t stop me from enjoying their music though, I stan the group and their music, not the company. :))))

I agree with this... If handled well they have the potential to surpass EXO's success (I love EXO and don't mean this as an offence to them). I just mean that this concept is so brilliant they should have blown up already. Unfortunately they aren't even getting half of the credit they deserve. Their music is genius, they are some of my fave dancers in KPop, their MVS are brilliant, they have so much sass and talent, they literally are the coolest kids in the business right now... They deserve more 👑

I prefer the WayV version in every possible way. I still love me some NCT but I know when something has hooked me. The vocals, rapping, choreography and M/V suite my tastes over the original. Sonically the song is different but not because of the language (for me), it's due to the different mix of vocals. I'm all about WayV right now.

I actually think that chinese sounds rly different from korean... Yeah it may be bcs I'm half chinese and understand chinese... But still, I also can hear the clear difference of korean from Japanese.. My (non asian) friends also think that chinese sounds different, it's like... A "softer" language I guess(?) , Also it has more sh/x sounds, like WO SHI XIAOJUN, XIHUAN, SHIJIE, etc

Sonically, the Korean and Chinese sound completely different because I know some of the Korean words and when I sing I realize it’s Chinese version and now I sing this song in KorChEnglish (Korean Chinese and English) cuz my brain just can’t pick one Like I remember the first time I heard Growl by EXO was on Spotify and I didn’t know it was in Chinese cuz I had never heard the Korean version and when I saw the video (which was Korean ver) I was like “Wait y tf does it sound so weird??” But you get used to the languages and soon it becomes easy to tell which one is which

Personally, I thought the chinese version was different when I first heard it, because I’m not really used to hearing chinese people speak their language (I know ten is thai but I’m talking about the language mainly). I like this video better because of the effects too. Also, I heard regular was supposed to be for WayV’s debut and not for 127’s comeback (someone can correct me if I’m wrong). Kun isn’t really that new either. He joined NCT last January (I think) with Jungwoo and Lucas. Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang are definitely all bias wrecking me right now, though (my bias is Johnny) 😅😭

I prefer this video too, because we got to see a lot more of the members close up. There are more members in 127, obviously, so getting in a lot of close ups can be hard. But the 127 Regular was just shot different. It focused more on the scenery, which was amazing. But I liked that WayV's Regular was more about the visuals and effects.

I love all versions of regular but I do like the visual effects for the wayV music video. They really went all out on this one 😁✨ As for the language, the wayV one sounds different to me but it still is cool.
