Memphis Legend Project Pat Stopped by The Hip Hop Uncensored Podcast To Speak On Young Dolph's Recent Death.Young Dolph was reportedly shot and killed in Memphis on Wednesday (November 17). According to a tweet from the Memphis Police Department, officers are on the scene of a shooting where one male victim was pronounced dead.
The victim was later identified as 36-year-old Young Dolph by eyewitnesses who were apparently in the area when the shooting took place.FOX13 reporter Jeremy Pierre shared additional photos of the chaotic scene and was able to later confirm Young Dolph’s identity as well.
“On the scene of a shooting on Airways,” he tweeted. “I’m hearing Memphis rapper may be a victim in the shooting. “Shooting happened at Makeda’s Cookies.”The owner of Makeda’s Cookies, Maurice Hill, said his employees told him Young Dolph walked into the store to buy cookies Wednesday afternoon. Someone pulled up in a vehicle and opened fire, killing him.
Young Dolph has been targeted by gun violence numerous times in the past. In 2017, he was shot and left in a critical but stable condition after an argument in Hollywood. That same year, over 100 shots were fired at Young Dolph‘s SUV in Charlotte, North Carolina where he was due to perform during the CIAA sports tournament. #youngdolph #youngdolphshot #youngdolphdead #memphisnews #youngdolphdead2021 #rapper youngdolphdead

It's not just the hip Hop community that's hurting... I am a 55 yr old white man from Northern Virginia whom loved young Dolph's music and his overall demeanor...... It saddens me in this day and age that a black man whom thinks for himself, does not rely on the system, but uses the system to his advantage with much great success, and becomes a role model for other black males to follow... For all of us to follow..... It seems as though in these times that this will just not be tolerated by the deep state establishment...... My condolences to his family and friends, we have lost another great African-American brother and I will always think of him whenever I long 4 the SUNSHINE......😢😥😢😥🌄R.I.P my friend.... @Ikarus Von Vader The Savage What's "highly strange" about it? His music was 100% degeneracy. He was shot once... His vehicle was shot up again... He made a whole song taunting the individuals who did it etc - But let you tell it his death is "highly strange". 😂😂😂 Just downright goofy 🤦‍♂️
@retiredtidepodeater3339
@retiredtidepodeater3339 2 жыл бұрын
@Ikarus Von Vader The Savage Yeah, you're definitely a whole weirdo. For one, I don't have to "like" my own comment because I said - But just because your weirdo behind can't seem to deal with the fact that people disagree with your nonsensical conspiracies, I thumbed up my own comment, so now it's +2. Cry about it. Oh... And as far as the rest of the mumbo jumbo you're rambling about? Blah blah blah & blah some more. You extra goofy, fake woke, pseudo-enlightened weirdos are ALWAYS conjuring up these stupid stories whenever entertainers, particularly black rappers pass away. Let me reiterate because apparently you rode the short bus to school - Young Dolph, a rapper who had issues in the streets to the point where he was shot at 100 times in Feb 2017 and then actually shot 3 times later the same year - Isn't the victim of some label conspiracy you dolt. Generally when you consistently taunt REAL KILLERS on a public stage, that's all the more motivation for them to follow through. Lord knows what you would've said if those shooters were successful in 2017 😂 You're the type of brainlette to still believe that Michael Jordan's dad was killed over a gambling debt 😂😂. Your little conspiracies fall apart even further once you realize that pretty much everyone of those aforementioned artist killers have been caught and charged. It's not even as if these artist had an overwhelming catalogue of music where they would be worth more dead than alive. Moe3 and Juice World wasn't Prince or Michael Jackson you absolute fool 😂😂... But who needs critical thinking abilities anyways? 😂

I knew it was coming and I'm a young man myself first they start opening up the liquor stores every day of the week that was never like that in my childhood you couldn't buy liquor on Sunday where I'm from, now they got out guns laws talking about to protect yourself when in actuality they want all these young people that don't have felonies cases or haven't been murdered or haven't killed to start doing that very thing. Alcohol everyday of the week and guns with or without a permit or just outside of the household at all is a bad idea when I was growing up you can have a gun but it had to be in your house and registered to you just like project Pat said now you can walk around with liquor and a firearm, wild wild West all over again two things that don't combine sad but it's the truth. It is all the plan for control population a lot of places are overpopulated and what I mean by control population like look at China they're overpopulated that's why they put out the coronavirus meaning for it to stay over there to control their population to kill off some of them people but it end up getting over worldwide. They're plan backfired on them but when you do evil things s*** comes back to haunt you. Mama always said play with 🔥 and eventually you'll get burnt. FACTS 🙏 My prayers go out to Dolph family and friends rest up homie 🙏

Look no disrespect at all, but the cities with the toughest gun laws have the highest murder rates! Chicago, LA, and here in NYC ! So it definitely ain’t that! Here you get 5 years automatically for getting caught with a pistol. And it’s a war zone in all 5 boroughs and even Long Island . My point is it ain’t the guns or the permits, it’s the lack of family structure, value of life and the invention of social media where people who don’t have nothing can look like they have everything and a person who has even less looks at that person as a plate! If you throw a steak in the lions den, what do you think is gonna happen?? Rip Dolph, god bless everyone who reading this comment.

I was “born and raised” in Memphis, Tennessee. I am currently 43 years old and I lived in Memphis from the time i was born, up until August of 2012 at which point I was lucky enough to move to Texas, due to a job that I had that was relocating and they wanted me to relocate, as well. Let me tell you straight up… IT WAS THE BEST THING THAT I EVER DID!!! So, in this video, when “Project Pat” ( 2:05 mark of the video) says, “ In Memphis, NOBODY speaks to each other anymore and ONLY the older people do that nowadays. And most of them don’t do it anymore. It is NOT FRIENDLY HERE, AT ALL!!!”, That was, WITHOUT A DOUBT, the MOST TRUEST STATEMENT THAT I HAVE HEARD IN A VERY LONG TIME!!! It was like that back in 2012 before I moved to Texas. I firmly say, “Southern Hospitality” is NO LONGER in existence in the south!!!”. R.I.P. YOUNG DOLPH!!! Now, I don’t know who shot and killed this young dude… but whoever did, ought to be flat out ashamed of themselves!!! Folks just don’t value the human life anymore!!! PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!! AND… WHILE IT IS VERY SAD, IT IS UNFORTUNATELY THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH!!! Y’all be safe out there and try your hardest to “STAY UP”!!! I am wishing every one of y’all nothing but the best and A VERY HAPPY TURKEY DAY, along with an EXTRA MERRY CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR!!! I’m pulling for ALL of you!!! Btw… PROJECT PAT IS ONE OF MY TOP 5 ALL TIME RAPPERS!!! And I do NOT mean “MEMPHIS RAPPERS” either!!! I’m talking about NATIONWIDE, BABY!!! Cuz… “IF YOU AIN’T FROM MY HOOD, YOU CAN GET FROM ‘ROUND HERE!!!” - PROJECT PAT

I moved from St. Louis to Memphis when I was 7yrs old, back in 1980. I left when I was 15yrs old in 1989. I went back to St. Louis because it was too many fights I was getting into. Trouble I was getting into. Schools I was getting kicked out of. I went back to St. Louis and never went back to Memphis. I ended up with a college scholarship, an accounting degree, and a 20yr career in executive accounting in Las Vegas. Had I stayed in Memphis, I would have been dead before 18yrs old with the areas I lived in: S. Memphis, Whitehaven, and then Frayser. I now have a 19yr old son and a 13yr old son and I'll never take them to see family in Memphis. Nope. Not even worth the trip. There are too many innocent people in Memphis that have let the crime take over the vibe of that city. So many innocent people that WANT a good life, but the haters and the no-good folks drag people down. I was always a smart kid with math (which is how I got my bachelors in Accounting), but the hood was making me FIGHT just to survive, and my family knew I was too smart for all that - so they shipped me out of Memphis to live with relatives in St. Louis. Best thing that could have happened to me.

St. Louis aint no upgrade. LOL! But Memphis was worse at that time for me, as I was in with the wrong folks. Even in St. Louis, haters would kill you if you wasn't on your game and peeped their moves. That's why I'm out West where nobody really knows me that well. Can't be around family and the folks you grew up with because THOSE are the ones closest to you - and they'll be the first ones to set you up if you moving up faster than they are. Project Pat is a really respected and wise OG for real. I hope the young generations listen to what he says when he speaks. As a musician I'm a huge fan of his work, I adore him and his mind. I just want to say that I wish he would speak more carefully about the gun topic. I'm from a state where we've always been able to carry our guns as long as they're legal, we aren't felons, and we aren't walking around far away from our vehicles or property with them concealed without a ccw for obvious reasons. There has always been WEREWOLVES everywhere that are gonna be packin' Illegally, laws will never stop criminals. WE HAD TO VOTE ON STATE AND COUNTY LEVELS FOR THE LEGAL WOLVES TO KEEP/HAVE OUR GUN RIGHTS. WE CANT AFFORD TO GIVE UP OR COMPLICATE ANY OF OUR RIGHTS AT THIS POINT. FOR THE SAKE OF OUR SOCIETY THAT WE ARE LEAVING FOR OUR KIDS AND GRANDKIDS WE NEED TO FOCUS ON HEALING AND UNITING THE WEREWOLVES BEFORE THE DAMN SNAKES IN POWER OVER POWER US FOR GOOD. LONG LIVE DOLPH'S LEGACY, AN INDEPENDENT HUSTLE KING, AND A WEREWOLF WHO WAS ABLE TO HEAL AND WAS CONSTANTLY TRYING TO HEAL OTHERS. AN AMAZING AND UNDER RATED MUSICIAN WHO WAS A HUGE INSPIRATION TO ME. REST IN PEACE KING DOLPH.

But the difference was, we still had the old school values being taught to us by Grandma and Mama, respecting people, going to church, and doing well in school. But, when we got grown, we didn’t demand that from our kids, and now, it’s our grandchildren that’s killing, twerking on social media, and are just lost because they weren’t taught the right way. Project pat is so unique he’s truly not the cutthroat gangster he was but he has all the wisdom knowledge and experience of being one for so long on a high level too he basically won in the streets in an absolutely ruthless town full of wolves like he said and it’s awesome to see him doing interviews sharing his knowledge from both sides of his transformation because he really has a full understanding of both sides in a way that not a lot of people do and as far as the street side of his life he did it all from the very bottom to the tip top in the streets and the music business so no wonder he has such a broad perspective on all of this cause he’s truly seen it all.

It’s really devastating because who will the community look to to give back to Memphis like Adolph did? I bet none of the suspects or anyone responsible for Dolph murder would do what he did as a Good Samaritan. It dismantles the hopes of those who appreciated what Dolph did for his community. It was not a smart move whom ever did it. Praying for Adolph wife, children and family.

Im a born Memphian. True enough it's scary out here. But in any hood or city. Be smart. If you gotta say sorry for bumping into someone do so. It don't make you a punk or weak. It shows how smart you are and without out saying and with your common sense you can live to see another day. I'm 36 yrs old and had encounters with many negativity but being polite and courteous will get you a long way anywhere. Dolph did what he was doing by being where he was at that exact time and it was just his time. Every man have their time. We have to just live our lives, pray, and embrace death but also be right in the Lord because any hr could be our last I'm praying for our city state country world that God protect each and everyone of us especially the ones reading. Love y'all. 💕 God bless. 🙏

It’s a mentality. Hurt people hurt people. You can’t be loved if you can’t love yourself. Loving yourself has no room for jealousy and hip-hop will always trigger hatred upon the unloved. The flash, arrogance, appeal & success is too much for them to accept. It will always turn out this way. A hip-hop artist is the most dangerous career in America. May you all be blessed and move precisely.

My city doesn't discriminate and we are bold... it's a double edged sword. Sometimes I drive and pray through the city. Energy is real and we all have a part to play. I give back to locals and stay out the way. Whether you're considered a good or bad person we have one thing in common, we all love this city and we all think it belongs to us. It's so sad when someone that feeds into the city is murdered. You are sad that it happened and you're also sad because you love and praise everyone that feeds into this city. Yet it breaks your heart to know one of those people is the reason he is gone. God bless us, it WILL get better. Nice podcast✔️ Project PatAAAAA✨ He is a Memphis legend 💪🙌👏
