Could you summarise what this video tells us?
@conduitofthegospeldarrellb91548 ай бұрын
@@DJreeikit confirms a lot of the paranoia and suspicion Tupac had in those years. He spoke on envy often, and he was right. Artist stole from him, lied on him, envious of his aura. I understand why he always had this weird tension with Dre. Like admiration for Dre’s influence & work but a personal disliking. Dre wasn’t a “good guy” and Pac wasn’t a “bad guy”. Simply two dudes in a wicked game. Neither innocent. The beefs also point to the youth and immaturity of these men at the time. Had they lived they’d make peace but I doubt it would be friendly. PAC & Biggie might’ve been able to mend their shit but I don’t see PAC being cool with anybody else (snoop included)
@consolas25148 ай бұрын
With all the love and respect, there is a lot of speculation just thrown in with real facts, like people intents (Particularly Pacs) and a lack of sources for anyone who wants to follow up and actually see these exact situations. Like Dre admitting he was Bi, I'd love to see where he got that info from because it seems to conflict with Dre's own words publicly and I'd love to make up my own mind on it. Its just why we cite sources in essays like this
@TheRealDeal14388 ай бұрын
@consolas2514 that's true!! And I always tell people this, Dre left Dearh Row at the right time!!
@HipHopUniverse8 ай бұрын
The part about Dre admitting that he was bi comes from 2 places, 1 the collect call podcast where Suge mentioned that incident (came out a couple months ago) and an interview with Howard Stern like 10 years ago where Suge told the exact same story. You just have to do some digging, I've been researching this shit for decades lmao. But like I said in the video, this is all according to Suge (Dre ALWAYS denied all the accusations like I said in the video). I can't include the sources in my video as KZbin is on my ass due to copyright (2 years ago they nuked my channel & I had to delete 200+ videos). Everything I said comes from either interviews, songs or conversations I had with people behind the scenes.

Spying on upcoming rappers was extremely common in the 90s and early 00s where big labels wld bite from demo tapes and small artists. I heard rumours on AOD back in 2020, I forgot who was being interviewed, that Pac was more mad at Dre than Snoop for biting his style. I know this is unpopular option but 2Pac, Thug Life, Warren G and the Twinz all signing to Master P's No Limit Records, which was then based in Bay area Richmond, California, when have been the best thing for 2Pac, Thug Life, Warren G and the Twinz. Master P would have had Beats By The Pound (now known a Medicine Men), E-A-Ski, and Warren G production on tap. 2Pac, Warren G, Thug Life, the Twinz adding E-A-Ski, Dangerous Dame, Silkk the Shocker, C-Murder, Mia X, the late Soulja Slim, the late Skull Duggery, Mystical, the late Magic, 504 Boyz, Fiend, Kane & Abel, Mr. Serv-On, Steady Mobb'n, Prime Suspects, Young Bleed, etc.

Nah Dre was apart of the madness with the East Vs West that the media created. He recorded a diss to the east coast in '94 but scrapped it. He was at the '95 source awards with DR! He wanted to produce Hitemup first! He was getting hella DUIs and reckless driving and assault cases. Was stuck on house arrest and not producing music. Cheating and beating on Michelle with a yt woman! Which caused her to spiral. He like most artist on DR at the time was jealous of 2pac taking over period. Got punked out of his own label and masters. Yeah when he ran to Jimmy and signed Em he got paid but let's not act like Dre wasn't apart of the madness. I don’t think you can even call it a beef. I don’t think Dr. Dre really had a deep issue with 2Pac, I know Internet, rap fans love to paint this narrative that Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are the worst people in the world blah blah blah, but everyone that was around back, then from snoop, to Nate Dogg, to Warren G, Kurupt, Trey Deee, RBX, Daz…… they’ve all said the same thing over the years and interviews. All of them, including Dr. Dre were friends with Tupac before he signed to death row. Suge wasn’t ever really even with Pac until they convinced him that it would be a good idea for him to come to the label. I think, though, even though I love 2Pac on death row, and I am a huge fan of his, and all the other death row artist, if he would’ve never have signed to death row and never became friends with Suge Knight he would still be alive today. Suge wasn’t a gangster growing up. All of the bloods that worked at death row have confirmed this. Suge got money , hired bloods from his parents neighborhood and then he became a gang member and was more concerned with making sure everyone knew what a big bad gangster he was instead of running that label right and keeping his artist, safe and keeping the money flowing. Dr. Dre never claimed to be a crier, he just like making gangsta rap , he was about the business. And every interview done by everyone that was on death row the last year they were around it wasn’t a good place to be. It was filled with negative energy, 90% of the dudes that Suge hired from Compton to work, security, dead, Tupac’s gone , people always talk about peace and unity, but then you want to turn around and badmouth rappers who actually want to do that. Dre just wanted to get out of that environment. That was it.

Hmm, it's interesting how Tupac and Suge were in F New York mode, which we all witnessed, but now everyone wants to say they only had beef with "some people from New York", which is a d amn lie. The East/West coast war was real and if you are old enough to know, you know because you witnessed it for yourself. I am tired of all the revisionist history. Hell, it's still going on on the internet! BTW, I love the way you tell everyone's story from their perspective. Great documentary as always.

The first rule of gaslighting is to accuse your enemy of what you do yourself: Pac accuses Dre of being a fake gangster, while he is the true studio gangster and fake thug. Pac accuses Dre of being a ho mo, while he is the one with the suspect photos floating around. Pac accuses Dre of stealing beats, while he is the one who stole his whole rapping style from the gangsters he glorified. Pac accuses Dre of not being able to return to his hood, while he is the one who was shunned by New York, which is where he was born. What I see when I see Pac is a very immature, childish, highly emotional man with feminine tendencies. He caused all this beef and his own problems because he was a follower who admired men he thought had power. He liked crashing out for them. Pac followed Haitian Jack and got in a load of trouble and then he followed Suge and got himself deleted. Pac was easily finessed and manipulated. It's hard to believe he was a grown man when all of this happened, not a teenager and not a kid. Pac made great music but there was nothing great about his character.

The problem is, he was looking (consciously or subconsciously) looking for a father figure. That’s a main reason why he followed the people u say he followed

@@EdmanBabyno it’s because first and foremost he was an actor.. a true human chameleon.. great song writer and rapper and on his way to be a superstar actor.. PAC was fruity. And a hater 😂😂 This guy makes out every artist in death row robbed styles off Tupac.. nonsense

@@EdmanBaby I can tell you Im the same way, sometimes when I’m at a job I always find something in common with a man older than me. I start to look at them like a uncle in a way. Then when things get real serious they basically I guess pull away. Either I get fired or they get fired I would still reach out. They wouldn’t…So I can understand why Pac wanna have find some kind of guidance from somebody they can learn from. I had a friend that I looked at as a big brother, but the thing not too long before I met him that nigga got put on child support and he always ask me for money weekly. Sometimes that nigga wouldn’t pay me back. By the 6th year I gotten tired of this guy, when my grandma passed away? on Valentines Day he basically had a date and he basically decline for me which is cool. But I never told him to do that and he said I didn’t have a choice. Which for me had me fucked up but I went over to his place. This guy asked me to buy weed and roll ups and I did. We both have one Jay each which was enough for 2 Jays. He smoked his and smoked half of mines and gave it to me to keep. And it was alittle jay 🙁! I felt like this I’m grieving and my grandmother is no longer here. I need that Jay more than he did. After the funeral he ain’t call me for awhile nobody did that I hung with at times. He didn’t ask if he can come to show support, that fucked me up the most. So like I said I eventually cut him off by the 6th year, this guy wasn’t doing nothing for my life but use me as a utility for his shit as a 36 year old man. And it seems like he can never understand where I was coming from. I was the most genuine friend he had, I gave him money at times to feed his kids when they was with him even school supplies 💯! To this day I just want a great friend a right hand! I can’t even find that at 32. But Pac always was looking for something even when we the world knew how smart he was
