Perak is a beautiful state! I remember living in Gopeng for a year and I would go to Ipoh every week for shopping! There is a lime cave near Ipoh called gua tempurung. It's worth checking it out while you are there. I love that Perak has a lot of limestone hills and caves!

You should definitely go for a traditional village tour in Gopeng/Perak. I once went to a Rawanese village for an assignment, they took us to this wonderful little village in Gopeng. Where we got to learn a bit about their culture, tradition and enjoyed their food! It was an amazing experience.

Ipoh is surrounded by mountains, it's kinda like in a valley, it often gets really rainy in the evening. If you girls are up for cafe hunting, there are a lot of themed cafes like Petit Mary Patisserie, Purple Moon Lover, V Bridal Cafe, STG(the main branch in a big European styled mansion) etc. At night, you can grab a beer in EuroHouse, Mansion etc.

I'll still buy it though haha it's so good on a hot day especially now that they have so many flavours available as well. 😍😍 Just looking at you guys eating it makes me wanna go back to Ipoh again. *drools 💜

As for teluk intan you can stay @ little kampung studio or anson bali hotel for a unique stay...but you can also opted for homestays in the town of bagan datoh nearby.... from teluk intan asked around for udang galah (river prawns) fishing excursions or the boat cruise to see fireflies and in bagan datoh visit the pasar pagi (morning market) on saturdays and try their soto or satay... walk around the bagan datoh water front esplanade... you can also go to a sand bank call Beting Beras Basah ( this is must place for the Sultan of Perak to visit on his coronation day ritual)

Rumor said, Bean Sprout from Ipoh is the best in Malaysia. The size is bigger than any Bean Sprout from other area .It is because the city itself located in the middle of valley, surrounding by a lot of mountain they believe Ipoh water contain more mineral. That why Bean sprout there can grow much better and bigger....
