A cave in Mount Hira (near Mecca) is the location where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received his revelations from Allah SWT through the angel Gabriel. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) lived in this cave while he received messages from God and therefore refrained from leaving for prolonged periods of time.
The Cave of Hira near Mecca was the venue from where the first words of divine revelation are said to have descended upon Prophet Muhammad to light up the universe. At a height of 634 meters in the Jabal Al-Nour, the Cave of Hira is four kilometers away from the Kaaba in Mecca.
Almost six years before we climbed Mountain Hira.I was so small and my Dad Took me on his shoulder.. This is the second time we are going to climb the Mountain Hira with my Mamo Zubair.
When we reached at our location, it was totally different, now there is a big change around. A beautiful building with name Hira Cultural Heritage. There are many shops around. A beautiful Quran museum and many more.
We started our journey almost at 3PM so weather was quite warm and sunny 🌞.
But Alhamdulillha, when we came back weather was good. But there is much crowd of pilgrims on the track.
I must say, choose early morning to climb the hira mountain, and go up by proper path and take breaks on the way. Also you need to have plenty of water with you.
Alhamdulillha it was very spiritual Journey to Hira mountain.
