Hi! What motor are you using for 4S?

There are a number of different motors used over the years. The first one was from Hobby City / HobbyKing rated at 1000 kv, giving a nice rotor RPM of about 1400 RPM on 4S. It led to many meaningful flights until one day during a normal spool up one of the magnets in the motor came loose. It was replaced by a 980 kv motor from Taiwan but the rotor RPM was rather low. It was finally replaced by one from the Aerodrive 3542 series (1000 kv if not mistaken).

Hello The motor selected was the Turnigy Aerodrive, 1000 kv. Coupled with the gear ratio of 1 : 9.625 of the Hirobo Shuttle, the attained head speed was a comfortable 1400 ~ 1450 RPM.
