Any chance of some advice for someone that built the castle before seeing this tutorial? I'm struggling to line up those diagonal stone blocks that you instruct to build just after finishing the gate layout. The blocks look odd against my already built stairway to my Hiroshima castle so I'm a little confused on where we should be placing them. Any chance of a video showing how to place the layout of this base against an already built castle?

It'll be about another week. If you want, you could start building the Japanese Bridge from my last video. The two andesite walls that we place at 30:44 are the same walls in the Bridge video, so you should be able to figure out where to build it from that.

I use Complementary Shaders, but I've tweaked the settings a bit. I've turned off most of the fog and upped the saturation.

You don't need the level changes, all the buildings will look fine on flat ground.

No, I see now what the problem is. I've started building this around the existing castle build and I've aligned the stairs over the stone edge while they should be -1 out of it. So if somebody else is doing the same, the stairs on the very bottom go in place of the dirt outline, not inside of it.
