I’ve been waiting for this… for 2000 years… That overused reference aside seriously this show is shaping up to be my favourite new one this season. It’s nothing special if you look at every aspect on its own but it ticks the right boxes so well that they all combine and do turn it into something unique, like it’s a refreshing twist on tried and true tropes with relatively consistently medium-high quality writing.

Yet another nuclear Sawano magnum opus. He just never stops getting better. Even if the anime he's composing for isn't very good (Aldnoah.Zero, Kill la Kill) he just does not stop dispensing god-tier orchestra upon heaven and earth.
