Brent, Curtis Olson here. I was just curious what tuning platforms you run with different cars. I know nothing about the tuning game but find it fascinating. Im a little better versed with the carbureted / controlled fuel leak if you will. maybe move the fire around a bit and get it to roll down the road. so a little old school with all the EFI tech out there now days. i would be interested as to any kind of input you might have in general. I did the chrysler dealership thing for twenty years a while ago but i do understand the stoichiometric theory a little better than some but have zero experience with reprogramming actual PCM fuel table charts. And seeing the manipulations available with vtech adjustments and the kind of power you get out of those Honda’s is mind boggling to me. Anyways i love the channel and greatly enjoy watching someone who’s good at what he does. If a man loves what he does he will never work a day in his life...

Looks like he did that due to b-series having that issue where the belt flappsin that area even with tensioner fully adjusted when running. Think he did it for security on belt to make sure it does not jump teeth and keep tension on belt all around.

But yeah I had no idea that the new Honda Civic Type R's had 4 wheel drive system and I've never seen one that you can actually turn the 4 wheel drive system off and just make it front wheel drive system. That's so awesome for the Civic Type R's. But some1 please tell Brent that his work is so awesome and mind blowing. He's really great at what he does and his work brings me entertainment to my phone. Type R is FWD. The dyno was linked for 4wd on the first runs, hence the rear wheels turning. It was changed to unlinked 2wd mode for the power run at the end. Rear wheels not turning. It's the dyno not the drivetrain turning the rear wheels.

My dream would be to build a 4 banger over here in australia and ship it to you to have you tune it. Sounds crazy but why not!
