The Postal Portal Crew had said before that you CAN very easily replace ALL the "face" blocks of the mailbox without causing any problems. The only thing to worry about is making sure the button gets put back on the correct block. Other than that replace away and hide it all you want
@CastleTrimeАй бұрын
Yeah the surface part of the mailbox is reasonable safe to modify to the point some have not only redecorated but moved it. It is the underground part and the transits route that is the complex bit you need to be really careful around.

Your base is amazing because to me it gives off the feeling of “familiar”. It feels so real compared to usually complex and fancy bases, that the simplicity of your base can give anyone living in an Urban area a sense of “familiarity”. Love it, Beef.

Caring about the blocks being used having to make sense for the material of the build is such a Beef thing to do. I feel like that's something other hermits (or other minecrafters even) don't pay attention to as much. This man is so immersed.

For the mailbox you should make a roof that is a triangle that is tilted to one side! (scalene triangle) That way it looks crooked but still unique, cozy, and simple.

❤ Little Meatball….cute! My niece used to get hiccups when her feet were cold. And balogna caused nightmares. My son practiced standing and walking when nobody was looking, and surprised us with getting up and walking to his grandmother the first time. My friend’s grandson’s first word was “gandaddy”, grand-daddy as well as he could say it. 😂 Babies are interesting and fun!

for the mail building, make it like the old Western false front with just the front sticking up proclaiming "mail" and the rest is just flat. yes i might have been influence by the intro music... I'm loving the chill vibe you're going with these episodes! One thing you might want to look into is adding a chimney to the mail building. BdoubleO has built a little log cabin for his mailbox and the chimney starts smoking whenever there's mail in the inbox. I'm sure he would love to help you out to do something similar with your build, and it would fit the farm vibe quite well.

argueably the first time i've seen someone build custom birch trees who's managed to build actualy birch trees, not abominations serving nothing but prove that the person has never seen a birch tree before. :D for that, i salute you
@JenInMinecraftАй бұрын
I like "The little meatball". I was wondering what IGN Beef's baby would have. Also, I think the mail building would look best with a rounded roof (flat on the sides) with a little 1-block alcove in the front part of the roof. The double brick wall can be hidden with crates and shulker boxes, maybe with an overhang (i.e., packages being ready for delivery). Also, I hope Skizz has "Dang It!" on one of his cards (a common quote on his streams).

Nice episode Beef, however, I've never seen lights on farmland but most homesteads have sturdy fences for protecting livestock and property. You've definitely got the tired parent voice, enjoy, you'll have it for months until the routine is solid. Pro tip, real orange juice is like natures Red Bull and isn't addictive like caffeine. Best wishes and good luck. Keep up the great content ❤️

I think the bricks looks fine, in my mind the quartz represents plaster or painted cement or something like that. You naturally wouldn't use that all the way to the ground because it would get dirty or muddy so having the stone exposed at the bottom looks true to life which I think is what you are going for. Also welcome back and thanks for the vid, keep them coming even if they have to be in snatched moments like this.

Ooo the Hermitcraft Server upgraded to 1.21.4 before Beef knew about it. Most likely reason the Vanilla Tweaks aren't working yet. Also around any well pump, the ground wouldn't gather water pools. it would gather mud. And no farmer in his right mind would set a flaming lantern on a dry hay bale. Not if he valued his farm
