It’s not about him being something without Kurama. It’s about his abilities. I don’t say he’d be nothing with kurama but with his fighting style he wouldn’t have survived so many fights without kurama. Kurama healing him saved him and recovered his chakra. He used brute force for everything. He had no technique. Just Rasengan and shadow clone jutsu. He had no range of abilities. He would literally take a beating every fight because he had no idea how to fight otherwise. He is the John Cena of manga. A big move here and there but always took a beating. He talks a lot and we love him but his fighting skills are terrible.

​@narutouzu9197 you're forgetting one very important factor. Kurama is the reason his growth was stunted in the first place. No one trained him, he had no friends except shikamaru. His Chakra was suppressing kurama so his Chakra levels were lowered and also having kurama gave him poor Chakra control. If he actually had a proper teacher growing up he wouldn't had these problems. Well actually if he didn't have kurama he wouldn't have had these problems. It wouldn't make him the strongest but he definitely wouldn't be as bad. So you can't really say he would be dead without kurama since having kurma is what put him in this situation in the first place.
