The reason a lot of the plot lines were getting paid off early was because GLEE was originally only ordered for 13 episodes. Fox ordered the back half the seasons after seeing the ratings. But the first 13 episodes were already shot and filmed so this would have been the halfway point in the season.

To be fair to the homophobic dad, bearing in mind how bad homophobia gets, especially with parents "i don't get it but i love you" still kind of clears. It sucks but like a dad that is trying is still way better than average. Especially when you consider how overtly gay kurt is and how much freedom he has been given to express himself, he has all his makeup, his fashion, his music and his dad has provided him with the resources and a home where he feels safe to explore them. Part of the reason why it was obvious the dad wasn't going to be a raging homphobe is that kurt doesn't get to be kurt in a household like that, he'd have to be much further into the closet. There is also the fact that when kurt told his dad he was on the football team, his dad believed him, a less supportive dad would have been like "there is no way kurt is on the football team". He took him at his word and believed in him

To be fair to quin she's like "I've got to join glee club to make sure Rachel doesn't steal my man's. If Rachel was normal it would be an insane thing to do, but quin is right, Rachel actually just straight up is trying to steal her man

Just wanted to say how much I’m loving this series guys! As a gleek who hasn’t watched the show for a couple of years now, this series has got me thinking about the show again. As a creative myself, it’s amazing to see a fantastic series based on a great stimulus.

I will say, in regards to Michelin star restaurants, it is EXTREMELY biased towards french food. In fact a country's proximity to France is pretty much correlated with the amount of Michelin starred restaurants it has. Even Japan, which has the most Michelin stars out of any asian country, a good percentage of those restaurants are french restaurants
