In the UK version he was 15 because the age of consent in the UK is 16. Since the age of consent in a lot of States in the US is 18, he was 17 in the US version. Also, in the UK version Stuart (Brian) and Vince (Michael) end up together, whereas in the US it’s Brian (Stuart) and Justin (Nathan).
