I could listen to this all day long! This song has a very special meaning for me When my Mama passed away from breast cancer it devastated me. I only had 6 short years with my mom and we were inseparable. One of the things we shared was our love for the older hymns. When she died, I found myself singing this song to myself, a song I had not sang for more than 25 years. I could not get it out of my mind. We had to drive fro Virginia to Michigan for her funeral and during the graveside service, the Minister recited the words of this song! I had not shared the fact that I kept singing this song to anyone. But I was shocked! In my heart I am positive that this song was sent to my heart as a comfort, my Mama telling me the she was alright, that I didn't need to grieve so hard. That was 27 years ago and to this day, when I hear this song, I remember the love my mama and I had and I smile. I play this song every night. Thank you Chris Rupp for giving me such a blessed gift.💖 Best wishes.

God gave me a dream once where I met him in a garden and there was a beautiful orange tree with large juicy looking oranges. God in the dream was the gardener and I asked him if I could pick some of the oranges. I never forget it because he looked at me quite seriously and said "You can have the fruit as long as you don't waste it." Just like that. Okay, point of curiosity. Why is it so many A Capella songs are sung flat? Perhaps with the harmony rather than the melody? I love a good A Capella but don't enjoy that style at all. And this particular song has an especially beautiful original melody. P.S. The word Capella is misspelled in the title.

Sung flat? Not sure what you mean - everything in this is perfectly in tune from a technical standpoint. And nope, this is how A Cappella is spelled, according to the Italian. The Latin version is one p, but that's not commonly used at all.
