His FIRST Riverbank Tent Camping Trip in the Mountains! (River Fishing, Hiking and More!)

Our AC went out in our house, so we decided to pack up our things and go on our first ever family tent camping trip in the mountains! We weren't sure how it would all play out, but Cypress had the time of his life which is very exciting for us! Join along with us to see everything we got into while on this trip! Children are a gift from God. My grandson will be 3 in September and had been in cancer treatment for the last 2 years....since about 2 weeks before his first birthday. When we went family camping for the first time with our oldest she went down for her afternoon nap in the tent. My wife and I quietly played cards outside the tent. After an appropriate amount of time we heard a quiet voice inside the tent say, "hello, is there anybody out there???" Big adventure! Hard to believe that was 40 years ago. . . sigh. . .

Man time has flown!!! He's gotten so big so quickly! My one Niece was a Wild Child. We were all camping in a rough camp one weekend when she was maybe two. We were sitting around the fire one night, she came running into the fire circle, took a big poop and ran away. My brother stood up and used a shovel to move it. The conversation never slowed. 😂😂😂 Now she is an RCMP Constable.

Hey from NC guys! One of the best things my wife and I have done together is to buy a pop up camper. We made some upgrades to the mattresses and with some reflex-tec panels we stay cool/warm and dry which makes camping So much better. Ya know, I was thinking when you were talkin about dinner that night, you hadn't been fishin yet. A pan, oil, gas cooker and some House Autry with some Paul Prudhome's blackened fish spice and you woulda had dinner. I love Paul Prudhome's whole line of spices. Cypress is precious!
