The tattoo that Ga'ara has on his forehead is the combination of two kanjis “受, ukeru” and “心, kokoro” which respectively mean Acceptance and Heart, the combination of both “愛, ai” literally means Love. A lot of characters have names ending in MARU because that means son in Japanese, like Jefferson, Allison, Karlson... Konohamaru means son of the leaf (or Leafson) Akamaru means son of red (orRedson) Orochimaru means son of Orochi, who is a giant white mythological serpent.

I hope a moderator wouldn't consider this a spoiler but a mere explanation, the curse is meant to increase the abilities of the user, however is so aggressive that 1 out of 70 if I recall really survives it, however Sasuke cuz of his Uchiha inherited strength was able to spread the curse mark without dying in the frist attempt and even more to use it to actually increase his abilities and strength temporarily

I'm a big fan of the subbed version of Naruto but I have to give the dub props for episode 33. Before Sasuke breaks Zaku's arms he casually says, "You seem very proud of these arms of yours. You must be... very attached to them.".

The curse powers eats away from ones body, that's why orochimaru didn't quickly take Sasuke. Sasuke eyes also acts as a criteria to act as a vessel for orochimaru. I don't know if this is a spoiler, but I'll end it here.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. U have to watch the fillers on ur time than, pls. Many of the fillers to me were part of the story and important details in the history. I am so glad to join u on ur journey. I am a big fan of Naruto. It's really a well written story. I am focusing more on BTS these days so have not been watching much anime. But i love rewatching with u. =0] This one has great comedy and lots of feels too. I am currently watching Naruto Shippuden. i am up to the filler and paused. That pause has lasted years, lol. But I did finish Naruto and Bleach. Bleach just got new episodes so I started to watch that. I am so glad ur having fun. Love this section in the story. Great characters. I hate Orochimaru. Konoha is from the Japanese name for the lead village, Konohagakure, thus Konohamaru 🍃 Orochi means serpent, like a snake, thus Orochimaru 🐍 Aka is the Japanese for red... I don’t know how it relates to Akamaru… 😅 I hope that helps!
