AINDRA DASA: I only regret that, in a devotional society meant to instill fearlessness and individual thoughtfulness in its members, the atmospheric conditions are such that devotees opt to remain anonymous so as to circumvent the risk of being barbarously burned at the stake by the institutional powers that-be (the GBC gurus) for exercising their God-given right to freedom of pure devotional expression. Anyway, Krishna knows who they are, and I pray for His unreserved blessings upon them.

That’s a very powerful statement on its own but pertaining to Aindras departure it could be extremely knowing with regard to his leaving of his body? This is new to me his works and I am at the moment completely captivated by his work representative of his personal dedication but also the cultural reality of India in having such open and public devotional expression to the Supreme. I am finding it a most wonderful engagement and as a life long music now kirtan lover in awe of such Godly art. I read into Aindras passing and whilst I do not seek for it to be foul play I was very disappointed that sound and commotion was reported yet no one as far as was reported investigated the situation apparently only doing so in the morning when Aindra didn’t appear as was usual. It is obvious to me this plane of existence is under the cold sharp deluded grip of deliberate evil. Is it possible this plane of existence become fully Krishna conscious or is it always destined to be the dualistic tug of War between God consciousness and non God consciousness? I welcome any or all answers from whoever can help me with my enquiry. Thank you, Hare Krishna.

​@@Betterthantelly In short, this world, where ever you go, will never be perfect. Not in heavenly places, there is still fear, greed, etc., and so it is on the earth as well. To give an example, in Satya-yuga, basically everyone was Krsna-consious, but still persons like Hirayakasipu comes along and terrorize everyone. And now, it's kali-yuga, so what to expect :). Maybe everyone will become Krsna concious in this short Satya-yuga that will last 10.000 years, here in kali-yuga. But, that will also be temporary. Although i dont have such a conciousness my self, better to get 100% Krsna concious and never let anything but Krsna determin your happiness, never have another source of happiness. To my knowledge, that's the Pure Devotee

I assume you're talking about the charlatans that are (have ) ruined Iskcon and are (have) changed Srila Prabhupada's Original books, His blood and tears, so to say. O.K. that's extremely kind of you, you're obviously very advanced to love everyone, but I hope you don't mind, If I would rather follow Srila Prabhupada's directive, " We get Krishna conscienceness through the mercy of guru and Krishna, so real guru is never to be killed, but the so-called guru, he has to be killed. Well said Bhakta Peter, Aindra's only mistake was that he explained what real devotion was to those who are only interested in money, prestige, and power. Just as is the case with all unmotivated souls who only want to sing the Lords glories. These motivated souls are there to show us what not to become. All is within the supreme arrangement. We are all rewarded the destiny we deserve.

It sounds like Aindra Das was an example of a true sadhu and also a bit of a marytr for waking up Iskcon out of the rigid intolerant mindset that has dominated the org since the beginning. A new generation of devotees are now at the helm and they know there are many paths to the divine as there are aspirants and they have a respect and acceptance of other gurus and paths that the old guard never has.. all glory to Aindra for forging his own path

What are you talking about ? Forging his own path ? Acceptance of other gurus ? Intolerant mindset that has dominated since the beginning ? First of all, nowadays, Iskcon is run by false gurus, or should I say, siksha grurs claiming they're qualified to be diksha gurus. Iskcon was started by a pure devotee, a fully self-realized, devotee of Krishna, He was Brahman, Paramatma and Bhagavan realized, could see past, present and future and was beyond the 4 defects which plague humanity. His name is A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Now it's not that Srila Prabhupada was not accepting of other gurus, but He exposed the fact that unless one is fully self-realized, they are not qualified to be a diksha, initiating guru. Devotees in Iskcon practice Bhakti Yoga, the highest of all Yogas Bc devotional service is the only way to develop our love for the Supreme Personality of Godhead. We never claimed there weren't other paths, just that they all lead to Bhakti Yoga eventually, unless of course one wants to merge into the impersonal feature of the Supreme. Sripad Aindra did not chose His own path. He practiced Bhakti Yoga in its' purest form ,engaging in chanting the Holy Names for 22 hrs. daily. A pure soul no doubt. Hare Krishna

I forgot to mention, that the devotees In Iskcon are well aware of the 4 bonafide sampradayas that exist on this planet and any sincere soul can go back to Godhead following the respective gurus of any of these sampradayas, that is of course, as along as the guru is geniune. Hare Krishna

He never accepted any disciples; except, He gave me the sacred order of sannyasa. He received the sannyasa-mantra, from HDG Bhaktivedanta Goswami Maharaja (My siksha-gurudeva). I knew (and loved), this saint, since He originally joined ISCKON. I was there when He was initiated. We are both from DC and I am the only devotee, who knew Him, before His joining. I am singing 2nd lead in these bhajans 2001-2004 (btw). He has been an inspiration for most of my life. The most amazing Western devotee; that I've been fortunate to have know. And that is saying a lot. Because there are some advance devotees in the Gaudiya sampradaya. Yea: it's too bad, what "they" did to my spiritual masters movement ISLCON (and to Sripad Aindra). I don't want to spread hate; and certainly don't want to glorify myself. I only want to glorify my Godbrother, Aindra das. What can I say? He was the real deal. IDK.... Haridas Thakur incarnate? Yes , prabhu, Sripad Aindra Prabhu was a liberated soul, You were extremely fortunate to have His glorious association, for such a long period. I was also supremely fortunate to have met Him ( He showed me His collection of Salagram silas ) Btw, Sriman Gour Govinda maharaja was ( is ) a pure devotee, a disciple of Srila Prabhupada and was ordered by Prabhupada to become initating guru. Just watch any of Gour Govinada's videos if you have any doubts. I joined the Hare Krishna movement in 1972, and like you, am devastated by what the false gurus are doing and have done to Prabhupada's life and soul ( Iskcon ) There are some of us, however, who are just waiting for the right time to physically remove these charlatans, and their bogus changed books. Your illinformed comment is a reflection of your level of devotional service if any. In a Guru disciple relationship the disciple vows to take guidance and offer service to his spiritual master. If on the Guru side there is some deviation the Supreme spiritual master Krsna will guide the sincere disciple as Chaita guru from within the heart. Your comment about disciple devotional expression being restricted is presumptuous baseless and insinuating. Misrepresentations deviations and speculations cause The Supreme Lord to reestablish the teachings of the Bhagavat Gita to Arjuna. In this Kali Yuga the same trend is repeating once more. What is the value of your opinion when in the first place you need a spiritual guide. O people of Kali Yuga you are an ocean of faultfinders.
