On June 22, 2024, on the Day of Memory and Sorrow - the 83rd anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' laid a wreath from the Russian Orthodox Church at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden near the walls of the Moscow Kremlin.
