Moral story: Agriculture and food security prevents creating monsters 😜😄
@RayneWolf222 ай бұрын
Moral of the story: Abandoning something you brought into the world... something you swore to protect; that is wrong. The mother suffered for it, but the true suffering was left to the child [inadvertently]. [Side Note: Why was the mother in the beginning starving so desperately?? Why did the lords have so much food in reserve when the people are so hungry???] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Breakdown: The boy was innocent at heart (which the monk was able to see) before he was abandoned and nearly eaten by his mother. So, his suffering was living with that knowledge (which led to "hurt people hurting others"). He was going to be eaten, so in return, he felt he had to kill and eat others to survive (as his mother was going to do to him... and perhaps what she did do even after saving her child [from herself], but we don't know about that from this video. My guess is that the mother already ate a corpse before trying to kill her child, so she most likely continued to do that and taught her child to do that too. But, that is just my theory). So, the monk was the first intervention for the child. He taught the boy that not everyone fears a monster, and not everyone is out to kill him (even if he's attacking them). The monk is a reoccurring figure of... a peaceful rebellion. Rebellion against those turned dark from desperation and misunderstanding. He takes on the responsibility of teaching others a healthier lifestyle despite their suffering and trauma. To... end the cycle of misery. The kind woman who came across him helped the child to foster his innocent heart. But, their relationship became... misconstrued as their attachment grew (but only for the child), and it confused the child. The child attacked the woman's lover, and this altered her perception of the child as being more aggressive and unpredictable (scarier... a "demon"). The pain from this encounter unleashes havoc upon the land, which leads to further blight. When offered meat from a horse, the woman reflected on the child's past and knew what he could do to other humans, but she did not want to chance becoming corrupted with human flesh (so she chose death instead). This misunderstanding of character, the woman's death, and the hate from humans helped him to open his eyes, to which I believe he chose isolation and the lifestyle of a monk to rectify his past actions and to stay safe from those who deem him a "demon." To better understand and heal himself. The child truly lived a hard life... My heart aches for him dearly. 💜 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If there was anything I missed, I think it'd be cool to mention it. 🫡
