Sell all & I love TY & the show, but unfortunately their eBay store (or whoever runs it) is absolutely ridiculously overpriced. Watch Ty pay $2500 for a card then see it on their eBay for 10grand. While the comps are 2grand & $2440. Literally the most overpriced ridiculous eBay store I have ever seen. Watch Ty pay 60-80% of comps then ask 4X. Nuckin Futs

I’m enjoying these “bits” from previous episodes. I have the utmost respect for you, Ty. You didn’t try to talk Karl into selling them to you even though this is the type of collection you seek. Instead, you helped convince him to keep them and pass down to his family.

What kid is able to spend 50-100 dollars for low end dime a dozen boxes with 40 cards in it? The sad part is the card makers have turned a hobby into an investment and pension trading and selling plan. I will give the video maker here credit for not going in for the kill and getting the cards for pennies on the dollar. Seemed you reparked his passion with his own card collection which was pretty cool to see.

Beautiful cards and a great story. I have told you before I am not a huge fan of flipping because I am not sure it's good for the hobby and it sure is a change from what the hobby was when I was kid many years ago, because cards were for kids then and value did not matter much. However, you seem like a guy who is not only fair to the people you meet, will walk away from a deal in a case like this, and you genuinely seem to care about people and the hobby. That is why I watch your videos. You seem like a solid guy at the end of the day. Thanks for being one of the good guys. Not many in the current state of the hobby.

No filming of you ripping the old man off by undercutting the worth and then telling us how you screwed him over??.. This video was the best I’ve seen on card collecting and the reasons discussed here are the real reasons I collect. Awesome video. Thank you.

I love watching these collections being enjoyed. It is sad when you see a card like that Jim Brown card and the opinion is that it will only grade a 3-5. Other than the centering that card looks beautiful. These grading companies have created some racket for themselves. I always buy the card and not the grade for that exact reason!

That is a hard one, maybe sell some of the big money ones and keep most of the rest. W=I was hoping one of my kids would love sports cards so I could pass them on but no interest by either of them. Now I am in process of trimming down collection and selling 90% of it, which will likely take me longer then years I have left, lol, but have to try as it has gotten crazy out of control. Love your approach to the hobby and other collectors, many would have tried to swindle that collection from that guy. I never collected for investment only love of the cards, but now it is big business apparently.
