I’m curious what she’ll say when she goes to prison for money laundering: “I was naïve” or “I was stupid.” At some point common sense must play a part and those wilfully blind be held accountable. It’s not just the scammers that destroy lives; they couldn’t do it without the cadre of the greedy and foolish who surround them. “I found out he was a romance scammer, but fell in love with this man 30 years younger than me in another continent. Then I gave him my bank details and passwords and then moved tens of thousands of dollars, accepted package shipments and passed on packages, money etc.” Sorry! No sympathy. She truly does deserve criminal charges.

I outed a couple of scammers on Facebook And I had someone from Africa , woman invade my Facebook page ,every time I did prove that the profile was a scammer The message was our ancestors enslaved Africans many years ago and they never really made it very well in this world So now the children of these slaves are the ones who are rightfully so scamming everyone here it's reparation in other words, I found it appalling and I answered her that what happened years ago was not our fault. And I told her by the way, they're were many black Africans who had white slaves And ,I told her ,that's no excuse for African people to scam Americans. The real problem is they're not professionals, many are young black men and women who because of poverty I guess. Take-up scamming people out of ,a lot of money. Romancing them gaining their trust, and then sticking their claws into you for financial gain. They do it without a care in the world that they are emotionally breaking your heart and financially draining you. And if you don't do what they say, many of them become very angry and vindictive. And they will lay a guilt trip on you. I feel bad for this woman who got scammed like that. And the classic victim is a woman over 50 because they think we're Loaded with money.

Sounds like the same scammer I had a few years ago. Talked on the phone the accent was a little funny, but I know he wasn't African didn't sound like it.. He goes on contract retiring in a couple of years. Big explosion in Estonia. He owns the company a guy got hurt , a few died and they blamed him. He paid for some of the funerals ,and was running out of money and couldn't get money from back home. That was when I told him to go to hell. He claimed he got arrested by the police and if he didn't pay fines and all , that he was going to die in jail and they were starving him. What a bunch of bull. I almost believed him until he asked for all kinds of money. Never give money to someone you don't know, you haven't met yet. And you're not sure you can trust. Better to find someone in your state ,or within your city if possible. I feel bad for this lady. But I can see how easily these scammers can get to you.
