His Majesty, the king graced the newly restored wangdue Dzong which Was Razed to the ground by the fire 10 years back.
His majesty the fourth king was also present along with her Majesty de Queen of Bhutan and other royal family members as well.
Wangdue Dzong was built by the famous zhabdrung Ngawang namgyel to unify the country in 17th-century. The fortress is supposed to be built over the mountain resembling the shape of the tusks of the sleeping elephant.
The fortress had defended Bhutan from many Tibetan forces in the 17th century.

I have always wanted to visit Bhutan and experience their culture, food etc. The royal family of Bhutan are a very classy and beautiful family. I have watched a few videos of their children and noticed how calm and disciplined they have been during all these ceremonies etc. Can't be easy for young ones . Kudos to their parents. 💕❤

Bhutan is the only country in the Himalayas not taken over by its neighbours. Sikkim was taken over by India, Nepal is more or less controlled by communist China cause the Maoists r in power.
