Taking the blue 'Retry' stars resets your progress to the point before the event/secret. It's why you missed the 3rd hidden waddle-dee, taking the star rewound time to before you collected them, and then you chose another path.

Honestly it’s such an interesting twist to have the companion character be kidnapped in the 4th world and have to go two complete worlds without him all the way until the climax.

I was very surprised with the whole thing! King Dedede getting up during the victory dance and capturing Elfilin was such a great way to set up the rest of the game. I am glad they are still finding ways to surprise us in these Kirby games after 30 years.

I was hoping the biggest fish in the fishing mini-game would comedically break Kirby's chair into pieces after Kirby grabs the fish. I was even expecting it and thinking "And chair break... now!! And chair break... now!!" as you were pulling in bigger and bigger fishes. Oh well.

Fun fact: cone mouth, ring mouth, and car mouth have unique idle animations! You'll have to sit still for a few seconds to see them though, because it's an idle animation after all.

On the bridge level, if you go to the side in the first room and jump up to find a chest, if you jump through a open window you unlock a harder version of the boss rush

Ghost Kirby was an ability in Squeak Squad unlocked after getting all the ghost medal pieces. It’s the only ability in the entire series that’s needed to be unlocked.

Ghost Kirby was a special unlock in Squeak Squad. You had to collect pieces of a medal to unlock it, which were found in some of the treasure chests. The ability then becomes available in the levels once you have all the pieces of the medal. It allowed you to possess enemies and utilize their moveset if they had one. You can't possess bosses or midbosses, though.

Dedede's fight is actually pretty touch all things considered so I had an ordeal when going for no damage "acheviment"
