Interesting thing about the hedgehog trio( Sonic, Shadow, Silver) They represent the Past Present and Future. Shadow for a while would constantly reminisce of the past, and didn’t move on. He also was in stasis for 50 years, meaning he was from the past. Sonic is constantly in the moment. Silver is from the future and fights to create a better one

I *Really* love this from the beginning were everyone encouraging the hedgehog's to them hinting that each of them fight a different solar of a different timeline. To hearing three voices in "his world" like they are singing it to the music itself.
