Guys, I tried these steps multiple times and it worked. Step 1 - Remove the power from the socket. Step 2 - Press the TV power button for 30 seconds (Not in remote, It should be on the TV) Step 3 - Connect the TV directly to the socket after 60 seconds and turn it on. If it doesn't work, try it for 3-4 times. Also, check the number of times the power light blinks, it indicates what cause the problem. My case, it was 3 times and after repeating the procedure it was 5 times. And the next time it went on. Good Luck guys 👍

Juan preciate the help...woke up this morning and turned on the TV...it was working til it went black...unplugged it and everything...then the method of unplugging and hard resetting with the power button worked

I brought this TV November 2019 N it has a black screen and won't turn on. I have changed the batteries. Turned it off for 60 seconds tried to change the outlet nothing works. I won't ever buy another TV with Hi Sense on it I only had this 58 inch Roku TV for 2 in a half years. It's not a good brand from the look at all the comments with the Same issue it's not worth having it repaired might as well get another television. This is too much money for such a short time. I am so disappointed.

I’m curious as to how HDMI even affects a tv turning on. It does have digital and analog channels as well as video correct? Then why would a HDMI cable stop a tv from even displaying the channel it’s on?

I watched another video and by holding a flashlight up close to the screen I saw the Hisense logo so this is an indication the the led back lighting has gone out.

had the same issue was running out of memory tried to reset tv ,couldnt do it , tried everything finally tried turning off Ethernet modem was able to reset tv to factory settings helped , still having problems with uninstalling apps to increase memory thinking problem with the ram itself

I worked it out, Just like my laptop, you have to treat the smart tv as you would a computer! Take away the power source, then they usually reset themselves! Cheers

Would be nice to show an indepth look at replacing the board there are 3 boards my TV cost 2,000 so for 200 dollars well worth fixing yourself .Its not that hard to replace abord did on a 10,000 dollar fridge I will post when I fix my TV hard part is finding the board

Anyone having issues with the TV coming on, but then gets into a black screen and does nothing. No response, TV remote wont do anything. And sometimes it comes on and allow.me to navigate some option but no apps won't work, allows to open the setting options but after selecting "image", "apps" won't do-nothing, is pretty strange.

Hi, our tv went from working one second, to all of a sudden, it just went black. We unplugged it, & then plugged it back in after the full 60 seconds or longer. Also, I turned it on and held the power button located at the bottom of the Hisense Roku TV for 30-40 seconds long, and also turned it off & held the power button for 30-40 seconds. Then, we changed the batteries, as well too,but still its black?? Now, it was working fine then she tried changing the channel, & it went black to where we can't read anything or see anything on the screen, when its powered on??
