Hishie Ba performed by Jean Redpath

My favorite song from The Celtic Lullaby CD. Got this album as a kid, but didn't really listen to it till recently. Jean Redpath has such a beautiful and almost haunting voice, making this song great to relax or even sleep too.
Thought I would share it, since it wasn't anywyere on KZbin already.

The lyric book from the CD says that "guid kens fa's" means goodness knows who's. So it means goodness knows who's your father. :)

awsome ^ -^ this c d is a part of my child hood i grew up listening to the songs including this one n i always sing bits n pices of them that oi cn remembern hum the tunes to the ones with out words but its been so long now that ive nearly forgotten the songs , ti s to beautiful a cd to be forgotten sides theres some one special id like to share the music with
